Intense and fluid white, perfect for details!
These Sakura Gelly Roll pens are a jewel if you work with illustration, lettering or art on dark paper. The pack includes sizes 05, 08 and 10, which is great because you can use each one according to the level of detail you need. The ink is super opaque, really white, and flows smoothly without interruptions. It does not run or smear if you let it dry for a few seconds, and it works very well on watercolor, ink and colored pencil.I use them mainly for eye sparkles, details in portraits and light effects, and they make the drawings come to life. They also work on kraft paper and black cardboard without problem.Totally recommended if you are looking for professional quality in your finishes. I would buy them again without hesitation!

Great for highlighting!
Perfect for coloring outlines or high lighting. It lays beautifully over color (especially alcohol based markers). It’s a great product and the value is great. Been using for over a year.

Very pleased with. results so far
Writes very well. Leaves a heavy line so it does not look "washed out" though it takes a little longer to dry the results are preferred to a hit-or-miss line. Good results on plastic note book covers is not permanent but still readable after a couple weeks of light use. More permanent on more porous surfaces. Very pleased with the product.

For the price is great.
Design it’s very easy to use and have a good quality. The only problem is if you want to try to paint bigger areas, you have to wait to dry each line that you draw otherwise is going to make a hole in the middle of your painting so the right speed has be very slow. But I think worth the money.

Works well enough for me
I got these pens mainly for the purpose of adding highlights on drawings. I'm trying to go back to traditional.. I was never good at blending with coloured pencils or markers so it's not good looking but that's not the point. The pens did the job of adding some highlights to his black leather parts of his outfit and hair. I usually don't use white for hair highlights but I felt it would look okay. The pens worked well over the markers and even came out decent over coloured pencil! I didnt pay attention to if it smears or smudges, being white ink, I probably wouldn't have noticed the smearing/smudging anyways. But I don't think it smeared? I felt like it actually dried pretty quickly. As for the price, I think it's decent and worth it. It's a 3 pack with 3 different sizes (is that the word? Size seems incorrect? Width of the ink? I dunno anyways). You pay what, 2 bucks extra compared to the price of a single Sakura white pen, so yeah worth the price for 3. For the pics I used the 1.0 one. I used it for both the coloured pencil version of his hair and marker version. The pen was easy to use, didn't need to shake it or anything. Glides relatively smoothly as well. So all on all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I've always wanted white pens, and now that I got them I'll try and use them more often.

Stopped working easily
Two of these have been working fine but the smallest one stopped working within the first day of using it. The paint takes a few minutes to dry so be careful not to touch or smudge it.

These are really good white pens, the ink flows very nicely and I love using them for fine detailing and highlights in coloring books.
