What kind of chaulk gun to use?

A good 10oz chalk gun that will regulate the flow controlled and evenly. Do not get a $3 gun. Look for a "Professional". The battery electric ones would be best, but they're expensive and I don't think are necessary. A hand trigger gun will require a little trimming after you're done. Plan to trim the window-weld before it fully cures (~1hr after you apply it). Last thing, prep your surfaces with 3M single step primer 08682.

I've looked over the entire container and see nothing stating that it cannot work on Plexiglass. I've used it three times now, only on glass. If I had a Plexiglass window to install, I'd certainly give it a try. I don't think this has any solvents that will adversely effect the Plexi. I would be very careful with the adhesion promoter, if you use it. It will likely etch the Plexi if it comes in contact with an area you intend to see through. My only thing to add is, this stuff holds very well. Plexi tends to shrink and expand. If whatever you attach this on does not shrink and expand, your plexi will likely break with a sharp temperature change. I hope this helps.
