A good deal
I received the laptop earlier than the delivery day which was a nice surprise. I saw some bad reviews, but decided to try it out. The laptop is the 2K touchscreen model, with the i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, and 250 GB drive. It also has a smartcard contact reader (works) and an non-contact reader (not tested).`There is no WWAN card inside, so I think that is the only thing missing to make this system fully loaded. The only con I have is that the system shows the battery is at 76% health, which is not the advertised "higher than 80% battery" health (see included pic). It runs Manjaro Linux live system very smoothly and runs quietly (fan is noticeable when it runs, but usually doesn't for casual use). Extra note about the battery, Dell designed the laptop with a battery that can be easily replaced, which is a nice advantage for later battery replacement.

Just another shot in the dark refurb failure
Pictures show fingerprint scanner others have smart card slots and they use some vinyl wallpaper to resurface the wrists rests... The whole surface below the keyboard.... SLOPPY, CHEESY, EMBARRASSING AND DISAPPOINTING.ARE THEY'RE ANY REFURB VENDORS THAT ARE CONSISTENT AND DEPENDABLE?This is why I will only buy refurb through Amz... I trust them to have my back but it appears primetimebuys is 50/50 with me so far and that is an F- where I went to school.Grrrrrr
