Great gift for your little Ninjago lover...
This set was pricey, but once it was together I was very impressed by the quality. It makes a very nice addition to my kiddo's Ninjago collection... large enough to be a centerpiece and impressive with it's little details and a few surprise moving parts. He loves showing it off to his friends when they come over and managed to put it together pretty easily with the help of his father since the pieces are all clearly packaged, the instructions are very detailed (we're talking thick as an actual book here, but simplified with step by step instructions and pictures), and the set came with everything necessary to complete. Overall a good purchase if your child is a Ninjago fanatic like mine, lol.

This lego set was fantastic! I really enjoyed building it with my 7 year old nephew. He was the one building pretty much everything, I was only sorting the pieces. It is pretty big and with great details! My nephew (and I as well) particularly enjoyed the sails, the way they moved was magical. Also the cannons were such a delight. This lego is great to build and also great to play, even though some parts easily come off, you just have to build it again!

"Awesome, awesome, awesome!"
"The LEGO set is very big. It takes a bit of time to build and it's lots of fun to build. If it's your first or second set, you'll need help. I've been building since I was five and I am ten now, so I was able to build it myself in about 6 hours." "The best feature is it can transform and raise the sails to see it fly." "It is better then the old bounty ship."

Nice big set! Heavy to hold once complete. Use hairdryer to flatten sails.
It's big and heavy when complete! Don't expect your little one will be able to lift it comfortably once it's built. It's rather larger and bulky. Lego did think ahead and included a 'handle' that supports the ship... but if you're kiddo is anything like mine, it'll sit on the table and serve as a backdrop. This LEGO set is one of the FEW that actually is worth the money!! I'm always taken back by how small the $80 set is I purchased... but this one, wow, it's a good size. I would say it took a good 4 hours of interrupted time to complete it... but wow, very cool. One tip, the 'sails' are made of flexible plastic and are warped from the box, put them under a hair dryer for about 10 seconds, and they straighten out nicely.

One of the more complex Ninjago sets, great fun to assemble, with fun moving parts
We made our son save up over 6 months of chores for this. He's obsessed on Ninjago, and this prize kept him focused on being helpful. It is a complex set, our son is 6 years old, and had a couple of issues there were easily fixed. The multi-shot canons on the side are great fun.

Kid favorite!
As with most Lego items this is a great product with easy step-by-step instructions. Many moving parts and has been a source of constant entertainment. The box includes multiple characters and also several different independent items to assemble.

Seemed a little flimsy, my older boy who is 9 built it but while moving it from living room to his bedroom, it broke and he started crying. He built it again and a similar thing happened. So even though the lego set is pretty challenging, the final product is very prone to crumbling.
