Solid brass. NPT threads fit on pipes without issue. Pressure gauge threaded into small port. No leaks.

Threads felt smooth. Works well with pressure sensor for well pump.

Received the item as described. Female Threaded Lead-Free Brass Reducing Tee Fitting, 3/4in x 3/4in Straight Through, 1/4in 90 Degree Stem, FIP x FIP x FIP. Planning to using theses with SharkBite 3/4in x 3/4in MNPT adapters to add water pressure gauges to my water filtration system to monitor water pressure before and after filtration. My only concern is the lack of a smooth internal surface. The through passage hasn't been ground and is instead rough like the outside surface. It's possible this could create turbulent flow (water) in the pipe which can lead to wear, wall-thinning, and an eventual pinhole leak. I'm going to consult a plumber about my concern and revise this review at a later date.08/15/2020 UPDATE.I'm changing my rating to 5 stars. I couldn't find a plumber that felt the unpolished interior was a problem.

Perfect

I was surprised at how difficult this fitting was to find and this worked out perfectly! I needed to put 1/4 pressure gauges on 3/4" pipes, and before finding this the only way I could find to do this was to build out a solution with multiple fittings using bushings as reducers to get down to the 1/4" size I needed. Very possible, but not as ideal. I was really glad to find these and they appear to be very solid and of high quality.

I bought two to install pressure gauges. Installed them and there are no issues.

No lead. It was kinda hard to find this fitting. Was glad to get it. Now there is a pressure gage on my hot water tank. I look at it every day.

Used to mount water pressure guage after the house water pressure regulator.
