Oh, I have never heard that they are considered "pre-natal". I am taking them because they are a good, well-rounded multi vitamin that doesn't have turmeric in them, because I am sensitive to turmeric. Also, because they don't have iron in them, (or so I believe), so they are OK for menopausal women and men, who don't lose blood monthly. Personally, I don't see why a man couldn't take them.
