Yes, it has wifi + bluetooth and also ethernet connection. I find it very well equipped, only thing missing is touch-screen but the integrated touch-pad and keyboard works very well.

it's lithium battery and you just need to take off the back lid and then replace the battery. Very convenience

Yes you can use wifi hot spot. My own work fine...I can't speak for any other one out there.
