Effective machine
Two years of use and the battery life is acceptable. In my case I use it three time before charging it again.

Will not work while charging. It’s not suppose to. Great value.
I’ve been using the same beard trimmer for years. The battery died but it still worked while plugged into the wall. Since I couldn’t afford to replace it. I kept using it. Fast forward years later and the cord is starting to break off exposing the internal wires. The cord became brittle with age. That’s how old it was. I am now in a better position financially so I could afford to replace it. Being happy with my old trimmer. I have to compare the two. This Braun definitely has more power. My old trimmer adjusted to more lengths but the comb would collect the trimmings and you had to take the comb off. Shake the trimmings out to continue. This BT3321 modes is designed so the comb doesn’t collect the trimmings and clogs. It has openings at the bottom. A huge connivance. It feels better to hold. The lack of addition lengths doesn’t bother me since the length has plenty of settings beyond what I choose to trim. I don’t keep a super long beard in the summer but longer in the winter. My beard curls like crazy if it gets long. I don’t want to send hours necessary to straighten it. The longest setting on this trimmer is fine for my winter growth. When I keep it an inch or so in length. It definitely gets lower than what I trim it to in the summer months. The only negative I would give is, it will not work while charging. You might see someone posting a video showing it plugged in and not working. This model isn’t designed to work while charging. My other did. Which means. Once the battery dies. I’ll have to replace it. I’m hoping to get several years use out of it. It has a 2 year warranty. If it lasts 2 years. It would have cost me under a buck a month. I would consider getting my moneys worth.

Worked great for 1 year, terrible battery
Good beard trimmer; however, terrible battery. First thing, the device does not work when plugged it. I only used it once every 2 or 3 weeks for 10 minutes to trim beard. After a little over a year the device can not hold a charge long enough to trim beard. And since it can not work while plugged in, it is worthless. I am left to buy a new razor or replace the battery. And with the price of a new battery, it is easier and more cost effective to buy a new razor. I do like Braun trimmers, so I will buy another one from the company; however, if this happens again, it will be my last Braun shaver.

Read full review. Definitely suggest this trimmer!
The initial review is that it is very light. It feels like a very light plastic and very cheap. The first one I received worked great but did not recharge after the first battery life faded. However, I asked for a replacement and they sent me one and I have had no problems with it at all. It works great. It Does not cut or nick my skin, cuts quick and I don’t have to keep going over the same area multiple times. I have owned a Phillips beard shaver that was about 75 dollars and this compared admirably. The adjustable feature allows you to trim your beard and the scraggly hairs that stick out to make it a fuller look. I would definitely order again and would suggest this trimmer. I have owned many over the years and this one works just as well as the best ones I’ve owned. I left it on to test the run time and clock t lasted about 45 minutes. Which is about 20-30 shaves for me. I shave every other day, so I definitely will last several weeks or at least a month before I need to charge it again.

Functionality great. Battery, not so much.
I love how precisely you can adjust this razor. I trim my own head, too, so I can use the Braun incrementally to fade my sideburns up from the beard. However, I'm surprised at how quickly the battery drains. It needs to be recharged every 3 shaves. Several times I've had to wait around with only one half of my beard trimmed, like the Bearded Lady at the Coney Island amusement park. I've only owned it a year and I only use it 1-2 times a week so she doesn't have that many miles on her.... though I noticed the abnormally short battery life right after I got it.As long as you make it a habit if recharging it every couple shaves, I'd say it's worth the bargain price it sells for, just for the adjustability alone. You get what you pay for.

Just what I wanted
I had and old Panasonic trimmer for 20+ years but it's battery life finally in the last few months finally gave up. I was looking for a rechargeable simple to use trimmer, that didn't have a bunch of attachments to lose or keep up with. This one with the adjustable dial is just what I like. I wouldn't say it feels like the ultimate precision tool but it certainly works well. It's a little narrower than my old one but that's fine.My only criticism would be there is no indicator when the charge is full. Some people have talked about the button being stiff to turn off. It's a long button, and if you try to turn it off by sliding down using your thump up by the top (blades end)) then it doesn't want to move. Move your thumb to the bottom of the button and it slides just fine. Or at least this one does.Totally happy with this trimmer so far.
