The Big Book Of Birds Hardcover – 25 June 2019

The book is amazing. It begins with explaining the different types of birds - prey, forest and grassland birds, garden birds etc. it’s a wonderful book to introduce birds to kids. Birds are clubbed together - for instance flightless birds, and beautiful illustrations along with information about its habitat, food preferences, etc are shared. It’s not a detailed account of each type of bird - you are better off buying a picture book if that’s what you are looking for.My 4.5 year old loves this book. I did pick and chose the information I shared with him when I stared reading the book but that is primarily to not overwhelm him. A few reads later - we now read the book cover to cover :)

These big books are really good. They have small chunks of information that kids can easily understand and remember. Different kinds are included but little about them. After reading if kids are interested in any particular bird, we can try to get related book. Quality of these books are amazing and illustrations are so fancy. Me and my kid love these big books.

The book is beautifully illustrated.The description of birds is just adequate for the targeted age. Keeps the child rivetted.

The illustrations of this book are amazing. The quality of this book is also good but the information given is not that good. It is still good for kids. So I will give it a 4 star.

My 7 year old loved the book. Easy to read yet putting out lot of interesting facts.Highly recommended.
