If you really like real licorice, give these a try. This is not sweet, it is not salty: it is basically pure licorice with a bit of menthol. While I hate menthol, licorice is so strong, I don't mind.While I wish I had the self-control to let one slowly dissolve in my mouth, unfortunately I went through two boxes in a week. I was hoping to save a box to help soothe a cough or sore throat during cold and flu season, I am just going to have to buy another three boxes.

100% Licorice, very little sugar, carbs and calories. So good.

This is a licorice candy with a strong and long-lasting flavor!

They came well-packaged and fresh. They are tiny, but there is an ample amount of them (approximately 90) in each box (3 boxes).They are super strong, somewhat bitter, somewhat minty, but tasty! You would probably want to eat only one at a time. If you find them to be too strong or unpalatable, try placing one in the upper part of your mouth between your cheek and your gum, and keep it there. You will get a mild licorice flavor that is not overpowering and is very pleasant. I liked it much better that way.

first tasted this in Europe and loved it, tried to get it in Canada, but its not available. Please, please, make it available in Canada also. Very good product and seller. Thank you

These are like miniature versions of the Y&S licorice sticks, in the orange box that my did would but me at the corner drugstore as a kid. These are the diameter of a thin straw, and are broken in pieces about 1/4" long, and packed in a nice resealable box, that you can shake to get on or more at a time.This Italian licorice is not the salty Belgium type licorice, bit it is very strong, with no sweetness, it is 100% pure licorice. If you are looking for Australian, Switzer, or Twizzler type licorice sticks, this is not for you. (Consider yourself warned) but.... If you want very bitter, teeth blackening, addictive, hardcore strong black licorice, this is Saila "Black Gold" brand is the right one for you! Enjoy!
