Useful on deer
I have been using it this summer from March till Aug.pros, the deers are scared away I caught video footage the deer ran away with the sound and light.cons, the rabbits seems ignoring it.another improvement, I would like to have day/night switch, if I am working in the garden during the day then it won't stop... kind of annoying. but if I turn it off while I am outside, well too often I forgot to turn it back on.

if you have a deer, they care less about this product!!!
I bought Duranom to scare off deer. I live in northern Bergen county, NJ, and have town council that refuses to move deer to safety of surrounding forests and mountains, so they roam residential areas. They are nice creatures until they start eating everything you planted in your garden and defecating your lawn freely. This product should help with scaring deer off. Unfortunately, it doesn't work at all and I should be wiser listening to reviews people posted, who even did filmed uselessness of the product. Not only Duranom doesn't scare deer off, they come and mock me by defecating the lawn just around the place I installed it. I should return the product. I only keep it, hoping (without any proof), Duranom scares smaller animals off, cats and other field rodents. It's a shame the producer advertise something before it really checks the product out. Don't buy it, if you want to get rid of deer.

Not sure if it is working for deer
Deer have been eating my rose bushes. I see deer in the area often and in my yard at night and early in the morning. I have it set to loudest setting on #5. Also used a deer away spray that I purchased on Amazon. I don’t have a trail camera so I have not witnessed them eating my rose bushes but something is. I planted a couple of new rose bushes and within a week some leaves have been eaten. This repeller is sitting about three feet from the rose bush I planted. Perhaps the deer in my area don’t care about strobe lights and the sound this thing makes.

Purchased Feb 2020. It's been almost 2 years. I live in a place with a lot of sun and haven't once manually recharged the batteries, so the solar panel is still working. I also live in extreme heat that hasn't destroyed it. The seasonal monsoon rains haven't destroyed it. When I walk in front of it, the strobe and ultrasonic sound still function. It's installed in one corner of a 20x30 foot area, covered entirely in sand (AKA the neighborhood cat litter box)22 months. No cat poop

This works great...kept bears out of my yard on the first night I used it!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this hoping to keep bears, raccoons, and other animals out of my yard. Bears had been coming into our yard every night for weeks, and this worked the first night I set it up. Set the dial to 5 for cycling through all the frequencies. Bear came back several nights later and it worked again!

This article is useless, it doesn't repel animals, it's a scam, I don't recommend it.

Not ready for practical use.
Ok, this device is not ready for prime time. I’d call it a good prototype. First, the stand assembly they give you to stake it into the ground is ridiculous. It comes in like 4 pieces, so when you push it in the ground and decide to relocate it, at least one of the pieces will get stuck in the ground and you’ll have to dig it out. Very bad design. Second, this unit says it can handle light rain, yet is solar powered. What is the point of having something intended to be outside if it can’t handle the elements? Again, not ready for prime time. Nice prototype, bad product. This seems like a few engineers presented a concept to the executives, and the executives went full steam ahead on mass producing the concept before they could work out all the kinks.
