Works great. Layes out straight. Not all coiled up. Much better than three foot sections. Works much better than original pieces. Will definitely purchase again.

This Vacuum hose is much better than my previous one which became brittle and cracked rendering it useless in less than two seasons. This hose is of thicker material and I think slightly softer and more flexible as well. It is a 40 ft. hose which was needed to get all the way to the opposite side of the pool from the skimmer port where the hose attaches to the pump and filtration system. The swiveling ends help keep the kinks from the hose as you work your way around the pool. This hose is way better than some others and made my pool maintenance much more enjoyable. Please remember to thoroughly rinse ALL of your pool maintenance tools, toys, and accessories with fresh water after use and store them out of direct sunlight as these are the killers of plastic, rubber, and vinyl materials. Works as promised and seems quite durable.

The hose worked ok, but because it is not as flexible as my previous hose. The connector worked its way off of my vacuum head twice during my first session I believe due to the lack of flexibility of the hose. Other than that, it worked fine. My original hose from 2003 sprang a leak at the end of last season. We'll see how long this one lasts.UPDATEDon't waste your money!!! Worthless!! Worked a few weeks then wasn't able to clean the pool. Kept losing suction. Fortunately, I had not thrown the old hose away. Put it on and was able to vacuum my pool even with a leak.EXPENSIVE GARBAGE!!!!UPDATE: Since it didn't come with instructions, I didn't know that the swivel end had to be attached to the vacuum head. The stationary end attaches to the skimmer. Once I figured it out , it worked. Increased the rating from 1 Star to 4. Couldn't give it 5 Stars because of the stiffness.

Attention hobbyists, woodworkers, and shop-folk!This is some seriously impressive stuff! Does not crush/collapse with suction/vacuum pressure when used for branches in my shop dust collection system nor as an extended hose on my shop vac.Using this on my shop vac allows me to set the vacuum outdoors, keeping dust/noise out when cleaning up drywall/demolition mess.I’ve also been using this for years in my shop to connect branch circuits of my dust collection system to power tools and my CNC router.It’s a ridiculously durable alternative to standard shop ducting and vacuum hoses; it is also so much more affordable than these items normally run.Note: If using for dust collection, a 1 1/4” PVC barbed/threaded connection slips right into the tubing once cut, making it super simple to connect to power tools (belt grinders, belt sanders, miter/chop saws, etc.).

I ordered the 40 foot 1 1/2 hose for my inground pool. It says heavy duty but it's definitely not. Upon opening, I noticed immediately that it was a lot lighter than my old hose. Also the swivel cuff is a little smaller diameter than my old one and I had to get my wife to hold it inside the skimmer until I got the pump turned on. After 2 minutes of vacuuming, I noticed the loss in pressure. The hose had completely sucked together! In this case, you get far less than what you pay for. Complete waste of money.

I like the quality of this hose. It's the right size it fits all the way across my pool..
