I own several waiters knives but this one is the best. It is very sturdy and easy to use. It has a great heavy feel to it and the stainless steel is makes it very attractive. The foil cutter is quite sharp. The two stage lift works great at getting the cork out with that wonderful pop at the end. It is a little more expensive than my other waiters knives but I think it is worth the extra price.

I have been carrying this as a server for about a week, I do like the slim profile and the solid build quality. Both the cutter and worm have a lock-back spring on them. This is also the best cutter I've had the pleasure to use, very sharp and non-serrated; makes nice clean cuts without leaving foil debris.Functionally it falls short. Because of the lock-back springs, it is very difficult to deploy even using two hands. The spring has so much tension that the worm has dented the body from traveling back to resting position. There is two stages on the puller, however the first stage requires the worm to be run in further than is normal to catch the lip of the bottle, and even then may not make good contact. Something should be done to address this, either an extension of the tabs, a pivoting hinge, or second hinge.It is so close to being excellent, however because its design flaws it will be frustrating to use for both the professional and home user. There is a plethora of easier-to-use wine keys at a fraction of the cost, but I do appreciate the attempt to create a professional's tool with a modern, sleek aesthetic. Unfortunately it falls short on execution and I would recommend trying Zwilling's other offering, the Classic Waiter's Corkscrew if you want the excellent knife but with a superior double hinged extractor.

This is a great, sturdy and portable key you can take anywhere. Sleek design, very comfortable to use and the two-stage pull is great!I've had this for years and it performs so well, I'm giving it as gifts to my groomsmen.

Easy to use and solid ergonomics. From the feel and use, it should last a long time.

It’s Impressive, beautiful, heavy with a sharp blade. Unfortunately it’s hard to use. Cracked the first bottle of wine. Being Single hinged & stiff, it destroyed a cork at a table I was serving. Disappointing!

I work as a Sommelier in a NYC restaurant. I opened hundred's of bottles a week. This rate as one of the finest wine keys I have ever used with one caveat: The edges are extremely sharp. The brushed stainless steel makes for a beautiful corkscrew but the angular lines that make it so aesthetically interesting also create edges that can tear both clothing and, to a lesser degree, skin.Still, the foil cutter is long and sharp (which is often over looked) and key make for effortless cork removal. Overall, worth the few extra dollars for a tool that works consistently and easily.

I'm very happy with this purchase. You can tell this thing is made to last by how heavy it is.
