This product helps with nonhealing wounds.

My elderly mother has 2 bad sores on her foot. One has became an open wound and the other is just very sore. Her doctor told her about this and wanted her to try it. She had me order it for her sleeps with it every night now. She said it did take a little to get use to due to it's size. But where she was sliding her foot at night to cause the sores in the first place, this has helped her out a lot. It is a little pricey, but as long as she is happy and it is working, that doesn't matter. her health is the most important thing.

My pt recommended it. He was right. It helped my leg muscles.

Used boot for foot issue while sleeping. Works well, easy to put on and take off.

The boot is wonderful! It does exactly what it is suppose to do by keeping the weight off of my husband’s heel. Good quality and very much worth the price. Would recommend it highly!

I'm sure this heel protector is great for some, but not for me. My wound care doctor recommended it. It is soft. Too bulky for me. Needs another velcro strap to keep it in place. I feel, this product is overpriced. I shopped around and this is the place I found to be the cheapest. Again, this product will benefit others. Just not for me.

Great protection for a troubled foot. Very easy to put on with strong velcro ties.

Beware. Sage makes three different versions of the Prevalon Heel Protector. This cheapest version (I) is sized VERY large and has two very long straps that will not tighten around a smallish person's leg. The middle version (II) has a much better arrangement of straps and is sized smaller than this version. The top of the line version (III) comes in three different sizes, with the same straps as the II and also a wedge on one side.
