Having GAD (Generalized Anxiety), I've been suffering with queasy stomach pains and other annoying gastrointestinal difficulties for years. I came across an article on the Gut-Brain axis and psychobiotics so I thought I'd give it a try. The queasy feelings are the worst - I assume it's adrenaline or cortisol that comes up for normal every day stressors like deadlines but I had developed a fear of it that was debilitating. I tried both Standardized extract Ashwagandha and KSM-66 which helped immensely with the anxiety and the stomachaches but I still had a few (much less intense) upset/queasy feelings that I was struggling with. For example my mind goes like this now: Deadline coming up? Oh there's the anxiety approaching, don't think about it, turn away. Needless to say, something had to be done.Prebiotics seemed cheaper than probiotics but it was hard to find a product with pure chicory extract. It's only been a few days since I started taking this, so I can't say for certain it's working. I take it with psyllium husk (for constipation) at night or when I don't need to monitor my food intake for a while (I take other medications and supplements that lose their effectiveness if taken with fiber supplements). My only complaint is that these are gelatin capsules and thus non-vegetarian -but I have to bite the bullet sometimes, so to speak. If I can find another chicory root extract with veg/vegan capsules for a similar price I'd switch to that but nothing else so far.

i have not tried them yet, but was disappointed to read that dose is 6 capsules/day and the bottle contains only 100 pills. so its only 16 day supply at about the same cost as i paid for 30 days of powder...my fault for not reading closer before i bought. will not be buying again..pill convenience isnt worth double to me

I originally bought these to take on a trip. I like that they don't appear to have FOS and I can tell a difference for the better when it's not there. I have taken the capsule whole and I've also emptied them in a glass of water. I plan to reorder because they are so much easier than the powders and I think they are effective.

Saw no results

Have used this for about a year, has really helped ease my digestive issues. Easy to swallow capsules. The only downside is that they are not always in stock or you're limited to one bottle per order.
