Installs easy and does the job.
It was super easy to install and is removable, which I like because we are not supposed to have ladders on our dock. But it works just as described and the quality is good. I recommend it.

DISAPPOINTED
I bought this a year ago for our pontoon boat-but did not install it until this year. It was easy to install - i liked the telescopic feature of it as well. I was disappointed that the ladder did not hold up - we used it few times and none of us are heavy- and one of the ladder rungs will not stay in place- when you stand on it it slides down. I have adjusted it many times - all other rungs work fine. It makes getting in and out of the boat difficult and we just don't use it for side entry and just use the back of the boat. of course, it is no longer eligible for return at this time so A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!!

Heavy-duty contruction
This ladder is extremely well built. The ladder rails are made from heavy-duty stainless steel. The folding standouts are also made from stainless steel. The steps are 16" wide and made from reinforced heavy plastic with a tread pattern. The top curved portion is especially heavy duty and has a rubberized material to help you grip with your hands. The end of the curve was a male cleat which will mate with the supplied gunnel plate so that the whole ladder will stay steady when used.

actually better quality than I expected
It was delivered promptly and was well packaged and protected. It was exactly as described; actually better quality than I expected. It will work VERY well for my particular application. And, the price was right.

Just installed seems pretty light weight don't think it will last long will keep you updated

Defective
Per other reviews I've seen here, the 2nd rung from the top slips out of place and slides all the way down to the 3rd rung freely, making it nearly impossible to climb up. The black rubber sheathing on the top hoop part was very cheap and pulled/ripped right off too. I was really hoping this ladder would work for us as it was the right shape and design for our boat...but now it's back to the drawing board. Disappointed.
