Guitar Pick Punch
My husband loves this unique gift! It is a very cool way to recycle old credit cards and gift cards and the picks are perfect! It's so easy to loose the picks that CONSTANTLY get left in the pockets of my guitar playing husband and this is such a great way to economically replace them. He thinks it's really cool to share them with his friends!Very sturdy and easy to use! The press was shipped right away--I received it within 3 days of ordering!

Goldmine if you have children taking guitar lessons!
I originally bought this Pick Punch for my husband a couple of years ago as a Christmas present (ran out of ideas after 15 years of marriage). He made a few picks because it was a fun little novelty. Then it remained mostly unused because, honestly, how many picks does a 40 year old man need? However, the true greatness of this gadget only became apparent once our son started to take guitar lessons. You see, seven year old boys like to carry small treasures around in their pockets and inevitably they proceed to lose these items! Guitar picks are no exception. Every time he went to play or got ready for his weekly lesson, I invariably heard, "Mom, I need a pick!" Out would come the Pick Punch to save the day! Huzzah! Now that he's nine, he's gotten a little bit better. Instead of relying on me to make him new picks every Wednesday, I now hear, "Mom, where's the Pick Punch!" We're getting there...Anyway, the Pick Punch works great. The edges of the picks may be slightly rough, but a quick rub against a bit of sand paper makes all well. My son's guitar teacher thought it was nifty, so we gave him this one that I just got from Amazon as a thank you present. It was actually cheaper than the original one I bought on another site because of the free shipping.

Power of the Punch!
I bought this for my 20 year old son who plays several instruments, including electric and acoustic guitar. He loved it! As soon as he got it, he took it out of the box and started making picks. He will be saving all his gift cards once they're used up and will make some really cools picks. Allows you to be creative and make picks in the thickness that you like. Good quality. Nicely made. Fun gift to give to musicians!

4.5 stars, super cool
This is a really cool gift for my 7 year old nephew; he's learning guitar now.I tried it out before I gift-wrapped it for him. I tried an old driver's license, a flimsy health insurance card, and a credit card. So now I have a guitar pick for myself, of course, that has my smiling face on it. This is so much more fun than shredding! The only qualm i have with it, is that the edges aren't the cleanest. They end up with a slight ... fray? flap? I can't think of a proper word, but if you simply file it with a fine fingernail file, then it fixes it.

Unnecessary but neat and fun
I came across the Pick Punch recently on some list of gifts that people had received that they really liked. I saw that Amazon had them for $25, and since I had a gift certificate balance to use . . . . . As soon as I ordered it, I realized that for $25, I could have bought about 5 dozen picks and probably never run out again for the same $. But today I received the Pick Punch. It is bigger, heavier, and sturdier than I expected - I have no doubt that this tool will outlast me. And now I can make my own picks whenever I want out of whatever plastic is at hand. I probably don't really need it, but I'm glad I bought it.

Too much fun
I know grown men aren't supposed to giggle, but I'm having way too much fun punching guitar picks out of old credit cards. The punch works great. The picks come out perfect almost every time. Maybe I missed it in the description, but there is a piece of sand paper on the bottom of the punch to clean off any rough edges (happened once out of 20+ picks.)I really like the picks it makes. Regular picks are too slick for me to hold onto sometimes, but these cc picks have are 'grippy.' I can hold onto them better. Now, I just have to wait for some more of those fake cc's to come in the mail. :)

Buy this now!
It is everything you hope it is. If Jesus played guitar he would buy this. Do not make our savior cry after he died so we could live eternally, and have the most awesome, one of a kind picks with which to be a strummin' upon our eternal guitar. I'm not Muslim but I am pretty sure Mohammed would not only pray in the direction of this machine several times a day, but also walk around it in circles endlessly chanting something about whatever 'n such. I went nuts making picks out of any suitable plastic I could find. Thickness is very important but then being the awesome steaming mass of epic music-spewing, chord-forging, Hell-Tuned fret pounders that you are you already know this. I made picks out of credit cards. Valid Credit cards to boot. It was so nerve-tinglingly ball-awakening that I chose this device over my financial security. Empty CD containers make a super thick curved pick that I am going to lay upon my bass guitar with the wrath of a googolplex of dying stars expanding angrily to consume all matter within their reach. It is well-made and very sturdy too. It has a Tupperware style lid on the bottom that has two positions. One position seems to suggest that the real purpose of this otherworldly curiosity is to hurl an unceasing barrage of razor-sharp pick-shaped assassins hurling toward those that the holder wishes to not be alive. The other will conveniently 'catch' each pick and store it safely until you realize, 'OH, S*** This thing has a catch tray on it.' I bought this on Amazon and will never regret it. Join me in my alcohol-fueled voyage to musical perfection, at least, from the standpoint of my picks.Dave
