Work well for five-year-old skater
My newly five-year-old skater had passed on her skating mittens to her younger sister and needed something new to wear on the ice. She generally skates 6-10 hours a week, and still has plenty of falls as she's working on her jumps.I decided to look for gloves, and there aren't a whole lot of choices out there for little skaters. These fit her well (youth small - toddler) but she'll get at most a year out of them before we need the bigger size, I'm guessing. They seem sufficiently padded that even when she takes an inadvertent hard fall, she doesn't seem fazed.I love that they are black, so they blend right in with her jacket (and don't show dirt, yay). I think she likes them, but I'm very nervous about her losing them, as they aren't inexpensive. They do get wet after awhile, especially if she spends much time touching the ice, but seem to dry out fairly quickly. We will certainly consider buying the next size up once she is ready for them.

Perfect for ice skating
My daughter does figure skating and these are perfect! They don’t soak up with water from the ice and the padding is just enough for a fall

Good for padding but not warm
Good barrier and cushion. The gloves are water resistant, not waterproof. If your kid is still learning and falling a lot and you may want to get waterproof gloves.

Great quality
When I opened the package I though oh no this is not going to fit. My girl is 7now and when she put them on they stretched and fit perfectly.

Warm until hands touch the ice....
Gloves keep you warm unless you are learning to skate and your hands are on the ice frequently. These gloves are NOT water resistant- hands get very wet and very cold.

Perfect
These are perfect for my 6yo daughter. Lightweight, flexible and padding in the places you need them. I wish I found them earlier.
