Great fit, very sturdy, and feels comfortable in hand.
I bought two of these faceplates for my XB1 controllers and love how they turned out (See pictured results). The main reason I was looking to replace my faceplates is I hate the texture on the base controllers. The base faceplates have a sandy texture that I find very uncomfortable in hand.I went with the glossy, translucent materials that not only look great, but feel much better to hold. I love the smooth surface of these replacement plates. While the material is definitely more slippery, the back of the controllers still provides plenty of texture, making for a very perfect feel in the hands. Installationn was simple and took 5 to 10 minutes per controller. The hardest part is popping off the back brackets of the controller, which just takes a little bit of force. Beyond that is just removing screws, switching faceplate, replacing screws, and popping back brackets into older place. Do note there is a final screw behind the sticker inside the battery compartment if you replace your own faceplate.Overall, the plates installed without issue. There were no cracks or defects and material feels very sturdy. Fit on the controllers is great with no gaps or overhangs. Even the Xbox button is perfectly centered on both controllers. If you are looking for something of great quality to enhance the look and feel of your controller, you can't go wrong with these faceplates. I am already enjoying using my controllers a lot more now that these faceplates are in place.

It was my first time building an Xbox 1 controller. It was fairly easy to install looks really good. Well, spend money for my friend.
