I used this twice for veggies! and just after 30 days of having it, it no longer sits right and will not work. Why is this such an issue?

Make sure you didn't misplace the thin, rubber piece that the bowl sits in to prevent slippage. Number two, make sure the shafts (one at bottom of motor and top of blade-shaft) meet. I had trouble before I saw they need to be angled correctly. It is star-shaped and looks like gears so, they have to match. Very simple to use a small screw-driver, I used my thumb nail, and keep changing one (I used the motor shaft) slightly until they match up. Just like any pair of gears, they much match. Good luck.

will it puree whole raw ginger?

Probably. Though we mainly use it for meat & veggies to make dumplings.

Can I make smooth tomato puree?

I am not sure but doubt it. I would use my Nutri-bullet for that type of food. This is basically a chopper of more solid food.

Would this be good for chopping raw meat?

Yes it would do great for chopping raw meat
