Attwood 17720 Seat Swivel, for Boat Seat, 6 ¼ Inches, 0-Degrees Tilt, Steel, Black Power Coated

All my treestands have swivel seats, most were repurposed [scavenged] from other projects , some from yard sales etc. When my cousin Vinny ,yes,I have a cousin Vinny, everyone should have at least one, bought a new property , it called for new treestands naturally with swivels .Three treestands need 3 seats ,got them ,and 3 swivels, only have 2 ,so ,off to Amazon I went. Found a good deal from Attwood ,that came promptly ,mounted it up ,and gave it a try,and another try,and again etc. no joy. I did the twist on it, no joy, my hulking 6ft3in son did the twist on it ,no joy. I contacted Attwood directly and a very nice man said the magic words" No problem I'll send you out a replacement today,and keep the old one " .He did it worked, and is now up in a tree , the OLD one is in the garage , every so often I ask someone who doesn't know the story if he can get it to work HA !! that show is always worth the price of admission !

Needed to make my fishing pontoon boat seat "swivel-able."My existing seat has bolts molded into the seat, so I just needed to add nylon spacers to make the ends of the bolts clear the two swivel plates. Works like a charm.

Not much clearance for fat fingers to operate. Once installed the mount works well.

I bought this 360 base to replace the base on my Classic Assessories pontoon boat. I have an electric motor on my boat and this makes it easy to swivel around so you are facing toward the motor for ease of using the tiller without twisting your back. I paired this with a 13” pedestal to make it easier to swivel around and also easier to stand up on the casting platform I added to the front of the boat.

So after reading the one star reviews about how this was junk and would not turn, I thought no way. Yes when mine came I could not move them by hand. Anyway on a boat you don't want chairs spinning like the top on a weather vane, anyway it turns out they work perfectly!Simple guide the screws that come with your boat seat through the NON MOVING swivel and into your seats, tighten with a screw driver through the slots in the NON MOVING Swivel. Then rest the seat on your mount, in my case it is a Wise double seat stand. Per the instructions on the swivel install a 1/4 x 20 bolt up through your mount and swivel, I used a 1 1/2 " long bolt, use a flat washer and then a locking nut and simply secure with a wrench and screw driver.Again for all those who bashed this product, shame on you, you simple are as "HANDY" with tools as you think you are, and that is why you can go to a marine service center and pay for someone who has the skills to do it for you!Buy with confidence, the swivels turn easily when you sit in the chair, but they don't turn so easy that if you lift up your feet, you won't spin around.I bought two swivels and they both worked/are working fine and both would not move by hand out of the box.In the picture I have one chair facing forward and one swiveled to the side. This is a well made produce, ENJOY!

As intended, works nice

If you get a larger person sitting in the seat that this is mounted to and they lean back, the bearings can come out which causes the seat to be even more unstable. You better have a plan to mount this if your going directly a seat and board with it. There is very little room to get any type of screws or bolts in place when you mount it to the seat. I had to predrill holes in the board, attach it to the seat, put the bolts in the holes so that they would drop into the drilled holes and then put nuts on the bottom. Extremely hard to work with if its not on some type of pedestal.
