Defective Weaver Scope Bases.
Scope base was both oversize and drilled cockeyed. Of course, Weaver tech support had never heard of bad parts in the supply line so I ordered another set. Also bad.Maybe time to go Leupold?

Good quality
These are of good quality, nice machined aluminum. They weren't the correct fit for my gun unfortunately, but that's more my own fault than anything.
