It is not a book for Details of Indian Political structure but for the Ideas behind the Indian political structure, the real motives which has driven Indian Constitutional Assembly to frame such constitution.The author here tries to explain the fundamental ideas and their origins, their supporters and their opponents and how it came to a final conclusion during 3 years of framing of constitution.Once youare aware of Indian Political structure then this is the book for you to prode further into the process it's making.Wonderfully written book for Indian Constitution, the book has it's own fame and rightly so.

Good product, neatly packaged and good content as well

Granville Austin is an acclaimed writer of constitution of India. This is a very good book for understanding the spirit of Indian Constitution and how the constitution makers were not just mindful of the critical necessities of their times but for the successive generations of India.
