Can you use this in saltwater? If not which one?

This is a fresh water reel and does not have any saltwater protection

Can this be used lefty?

Yes it can. It is interchangeable from right to left handed.

This says you can make it for a lefty but there are no instructions to do so. Can you post or link to those instructions?

To start you need to remove the handle nut (circular black knob) located on the opposite side of the reel directly in-line with the handle. Once this is removed you should be able to pull out the reel handle and insert it into where the reel nut came out of then all you have to do is re-screw the handle nut back into where you removed the handle from.

great option for kids or adults

I was looking for a decent quality push button for my kids to use at the lake. This has exceeded my expectations. It is worth the extra couple of dollars from the base models being sold on amazon. I haven't had any issues and seems to be decent quality for the money spent.

The Zebco handle curse

loved it until i caught a nice 2-3 lb bass. like many of the Zebcos before it, the handle axel broke inside due to the fish size :/ - they use metric sized part, so I'm looking for a way to fix it still.
