Perfect fit for my dad's old Braun 6520 shaver.FYI the foil is a slightly different pattern than the original. Perhaps it was redesigned for better performance? Can't tell a difference...

That was a mistake, it pulls hair and does not shave well. This Braun branded one I purchased from Amazon is much nicer. No hair pulling and a closer shave. Shaver even sounds better, like it is working less hard. Foil fits better on the shaver than the no-name one does. Just purchased another Braun from Amazon for when this one wears out.

I've had this shaver for decades. Recently, I discovered that I could get replacement batteries for this thing and replacing the existing originals was trivial. Now, after 35+ years, the foil started developing holes. After a search, I discovered that they make replacement foils and blades as well. I chose to go with Braun branded instead of 3rd party. I didn't like the blade design of the 3rd party units. The fit of this unit is good, but there's a difference in the solidity of the *click* when installing it. It "feels" not as sturdy as the original... But it works and I'm getting a smooth shave without pinching once again!

I stopped using my 6520 model when the foil got a hole in it and the blades would literally cut my skin like a dull knife if I didn't hold the razor just right . I still used the sideburn trimmer and used the razor to keep the hair on the side of my lips cut because a blade just doesn't cut the hairs short enough and they often become painful .It took about 30 seconds to change them both out and begin to shave . I don't remember the razor cutting so smoothly when it was new and 2 days growth was like a half day stubble easy to shave and no pulls at all. I do remember before the razor had the occasional pull of a hair or more but today was like shaving with a blade only closer and more comfortable in the same amount of time .If you want to renew your old Braun shaver this is a great upgrade from the old style .

A little expensive. But, it's all good.

Braun 31B Replacement Foil and Cutter Cassette made my shaver work like new.I have owned my Braun shaver for about 3 years it worked great for about 2 years after that I stopped usingit and purchase a new shaver another brand and used it for a year. After that it was not working very well.I decided to purchase replacement parts for my old Braun. After seeing these replacement parts on AmazonI decided to give it a try. My old shaver works like new and after that I went back and purchased 2 more sets.I Am a very happy camper !

After replacing my old foil and blade that I was used to using, man what a difference. It feels like a brand new razor.

It is a good replacement. The razor fits easily into the slot although the replacement cover needs a little force to fit it in.
