Fish like it and the pellets sink
I have algae pellets (Hikari Seaweed Extreme) and also like to have "meaty" pellets to feed my saltwater fish. All the various carnivorous fish like these pellets and unlike some other brands they actually sink. Some of the others float so you can't just drop them in; you have to release them underwater and even then a big portion float up to the surface and go into the overflow almost immediately. That makes it impossible to use them with an auto feeder when I'm gone. With the Formula One you can put them in a feeder and works great. Fish happy, I'm happy!!

Great sinking pellet food
I worked in Saltwater for years and Formula 1 has always been my go-to pellet food for my own fish and when I was recommending food to a customer. All my fish enjoy it and it is a good size for small to medium sized fish. The hermits love it too! The pellets come in a sealed bag inside the jar, so if you have a few extra unopened bottles around, you don't have to worry about moisture getting in and making the pellets clump.I've seen some people worry about pellets being too small- but larger fish can eat small pellets just as easily as larger pellets. A mix of multiple types of food (pellets, mysis, etc.) is always best for a tank!

Going going gone!
My shrimp, snails and crabs love this stuff. It’s funny to watch them fly across the tank when the smell is in the water. They are very, very small pellets which allows my pets to swallow it whole verses some of the bigger types that they need to try and hold onto. You get a lot in one jar.

They Sink FAST / Less than Half full * updated to 3 stars
They sink super quick, even if fish show interest they pellet is on the sand before the fish can get to it. Maybe if your single feeding one individual pellet for all of your fish every feeding, otherwise you're just feeding the crabs and snails by littering your sand bed. My bluehead Wrasse didn't even go for these and he shows interest in everything that enters the tank, food or not. Plus the bottle comes in a bag, once you empty that bone dry bag into the bottle it doesn't even fill up half way, such a wasteful and useless packaging, Their formula 2 gets the same review as this.Updated to 3 stars cause ended up having some fish jna qt tank really like these.

Even the tiny pallets sink, so you can feed the fish while pump is running.
If you own marine fish aquarium at home this is a must. It has formula one and two and most fish perfer one over two. The key of formula one is even though the pallets are tiny, they sink. That means you can feed with the pumps running. Unlike flakes that float and you need to turn off the pump, formula one allows you to feed without disturbing the marine life.
