There are others on the market that aren't stitched that may serve the same purpose and last longer, particularly since this costs more than most.I’ve reached out to Lusso to see what will be done. Will update accordingly based on their response, or lack thereof.UPDATE (March 3rd, 2018):Received an e-mail response from the co-owner less than 12 hours later. Promptly sent a replacement no questions asked, and it appears the product I received was a defect. Wow. . My car has beige seats and with a kid it's great to have something to protect the seat from spills. That's until I took it off and theres a stain on my seats from this protector! Totally ruined my seats

As you can see in the picture I have a Clek Fllo car seat which is very HEAVY! I recently bought a new Infiniti Q50 with black leather and my main concern was the car seat damaging the leather and leaving indentations. I did research for almost a week and im 100% I made the right purchase.I had no problems with delivery.Installation was easy.It’s a perfect fit for my car.Material feels strong and the padding i think is just right.So far so good.My next buy is the Lusso kick mat.Update..Took the car seat out to get windows tinted and there’s no marks on the seat. Can’t even tell the car seat was there.

I like this car seat protector very much. It does not damage our leather seats at all and is really easy to install, remove and clean. My only complaint is that after only 5 months of use with a rear facing toddler, the stitching/seam is coming out at the bottom of the half moon leather piece (near the top). This is where my child's feet hit. Sometimes he has shoes on, but most of the time he doesn't because he takes them off. I was hoping this protector would last us many years. Since he is so young, he will have to be rear facing for a while yet, so this protector will take even more abuse at that same position. I am not sure it if will hold up or not.UPDATE: after I posted this review originally the company sent me a free replacement. The replacement has held up very well. I have had no issues with the stitching this time. 4/2019

This is the worst seat cover ever. It attaches around neck rest and comes lose and slides down, constantly tightening strap. It slides all over the seat. I have a small car and it does not cover seat well, big gap on both sides. It has netting down the center and the 2 sides keep overlapping each other which makes it lumpy. Honestly the worst.

This is a great car seat protector. It is made with quality material and seems to provide good protection. However, I found the seat part a bit narrow for Gracco Atlas 65. It covers the car seat, but it is a very close match and I had to adjust it a few times to ensure full coverage. Another issue is that it is a bit slippery on leather seats. One side of it has small rubber dots to provide better grip, but they don't seem to be effective on my car leather seats.UPDATE: Lusso Gear reached out to me and they were kind enough to send another seat protector to ensure the first one was not defective. This is great customer service. They also provided some instructions on how to secure the carseat better. It helped in reducing the movement. I also tried the seat protector in my other car with Britax G1.1 Frontier Clicktight and it worked much better in my second car which also has leather seats. So, I think if your carseat is secured tightly, this protector does its job. So, I am upgrading my rating to a 5 star.

Had a bad experience with my car seat installation. Looks great, BUT....as a parent, when installing a car seat I know that it is secure when the car seat does not move around more than an inch in either direction. When installing my Graco 4Ever car seat on top of this seat protector, the car seat easily slips around, leaving me concerned. I'll be looking for another seat protector that makes me feel like my child is more safely secured.

So i ordered two of these for $25 each and 2 cheaper but still thick pads ($29 for the set) so that i could cover 4 seats total. I planned to place these more expensive and supposedly thicker mats under my two "larger" car seats and the smaller ones under the booster seats, but after receiving them, i swapped and put the cheaper, larger more padded ones under the baby seat and larger car seat and these are now going in the back with the booster seats... The cheaper (2 for 29) were around 1/2" wider in coverage. In the pictures you will see these mats BARELY cover the seat where the larger car seat sits.

I must admit, the prospect of buying some plastic to protect our car upholstery was not the most exciting purchase but after looking at all the choices, I liked the fact that this item was advertised as being made from thicker material, I didn't want something flimsy that would tear easily so although not the cheapest, this was the one I wanted.After arriving in double quick time I opened the package and to say I was impressed by the beautiful packaging and then the actual item is a massive understatement.As in the item description the protector was made from a thick and stylish waterproof material. Was so easy to fit into the car and has done it's job wonderfully. I really am so impressed with the quality of this item. I would highly recommend and will definitely buy from this company again. Infact i have already!

I got this as a gift for a friend.This is great product for its price. it is soft material and comfortable to sit on.It has useful front pockets for storage. where this is your phone, ID, paperwork or more. it is very well made compared to similar products. however would be nice to remove and change these pockets to the side for people with short legs and more space at side as depending how far foward you sit, depends what you can fit in themIt has a well made strap that fastens around the back of the neck/head part. however it could do with an extra strap at the bottom to stop it sliding about. sadly thats why its 4 star not 5.. as it slides about as its only got a strap to hold the back up, nothing at all around the seat base to stop it sliding off. you can rotate the whole thing off the seat with it still attached.I find this is very very easy to clean and maintain compared to the fabric on the natural car seat. all you need is a damp cloth to clean the product.I recommend this product to keep your car seat clean, and also its more comfortable for long journeys, just annoying that it moves around

Very well made seat protectors. The stronger and slightly more rigid padding on these should protect the soft alcantara seat inlays in the car and will distribute the weight of the car seat more evenly . They do have a slightly knobbly underside to stop them slipping around, so just to be safe on the softer material in our car, I've put the base of a very soft seat protector underneath (which was useless as a seat protector on its own!).

I received my car seat cover on time, and it is completely the quality product I was looking for. I also appreciated the customer care follow-up mails from Lusso, which were a nice touch that I haven't received from other companies that I've bought from via Amazon..However, all that being said, the quality of the the product itself is the important thing, and it's excellent. I'll definitely buy from Lusso again and will recommend the company to friends.

The product is to be used to protect our car seat against the child seat. I ordered two and they were great. We had one issue, and it was that only one arrived with the email as the other one was lost in the Swedish postage (happens to often here), however Leslie Ann at Lusso was of great help and she sent me another one. The service give to us by Leslie Ann was great and I will definitely order again from Lusso, Great quality in the product and great customer service. I have already recommended this product to my other friends who are expecting a baby. :)
