Excellent product, very tasty.
Excellent product for those on a low salt/sodium diet. My mom adores this. She adds her own spices and uses with pasta and many other recipes. Or simply with water and enjoys with a few crackers as soup. The price was reasonable. It is sad that all low sodium products are so pricey. We try to watch for sales.

Soup with No Added Salt
Soup usually has tons of salt. To find a soup with no added salt is amazing. It is mild tasting as with no added salt, the sodium content is around 55 mg a serving but this provides the opportunity to add your favorite seasonings, from Mrs Dash to your complex personal mix. Price is reasonable as well.

A good tasting lower sodium soup
I love this Campbells unsalted tomato soup! I have kidney problems and have to eat lower salt foods, this soup fits perfectly in my food plan. I add cooked rotini low carb to it (half can soup and a cooked low carb rotini). A little pepper and good to go. Compare the sodium content of this tomato soup to regular tomato soup and I think you will be very surprised. The cans have not been dented, it is a good value and tastes good. Try it yourself and see. I will keep buying it and highly recommend. đ

A little too sweet/bland but good for low-sodium diet
I love that this has only 50 mg of sodium per serving--my mom is on a salt-restricted diet, so I'm always looking for food items that offer unsalted or low-salt versions. I was thrilled to see Campbell's offers this on one of my favorite recipe staples. I make several dishes that utilize tomato soup, but the regular version is loaded with salt. I gave this a try and while it definitely meets the low-sodium requirement, the taste is a bit off. Not terrible, just not great--a little bland, a little too sweet and more acidic than the regular version. I make it work, but I find I have to add some salt back in to counteract the sweetness (about 1/8 tsp/can). Obviously, tastes better with more salt, but that defeats the purpose. I don't think I'd eat this on its own, but as part of a dish that utilizes meat, veggies and other no-salt seasonings to bump up the flavor, it's very doable.

I LOVE THIS SOUP!
Itâs tasty, filling, and doesnât cause water retention or leave me feeling thirsty afterwards.Although the label states âunsaltedâ, it still contains sodium. An entire can of this is only 125mg, though. Whereas a can of their regular style is 1,200! Same great flavor. For those of you also concerned about their salt intake, give it a shotâŚitâs really Mmm-Mmm, GOOD!Thanks, Amazon, for selling this.
