Very small , ended up returning and buying the next size up.

My husband loves this case. It is pretty compact compared to others, but each compartment is very functional and makes for efficient packing.

Bought my hubby the luggage and this is the matching toiletry bag. It looks great!

I travel a ton. When I decided to switch to a new toiletry kit, I purchased 5 different items to compare. The goal was to find a compact but functional kit to fit into my carry on luggage while taking a minimum amount of space.This item from Tumi was the highest end kit that I tested. Surprisingly, it wasn't close to being the one that I actually selected.PROS:* It is a beautiful bag and is the general quality you would expect from Tumi.* The clam shell layout makes everything visible at once.CONS:* Although total size of the bag was comparable to others I tried out, it was laid out so inefficiently that I couldn't fit all of my stuff into it.* The compartments are behind clear plastic. While this is helpful for seeing everything, I'm sure they would quickly become clouded with toothpaste and other stuff that happens in a toiletry kit and would become messy looking.* The compartments are behind additional zippers - taking extra steps to unpack and re-pack items. Not a big deal for most, but I go through this process at least weekly and sometimes multiple times.Some small adjustments would make this a great bag. But, as it stands, unless you are a very light toiletry packer, it's going to be too small for you.As a point of reference, here's what I put into my kit:* Shampoo (small TSA approved container)* Lotion (same container as shampoo)* Deodorant (small travel size)* Shaving cream (small travel size)* Hair stuff (very small size - about 20% of the size of my shampoo)* Beard stuff (same as above)* Collar stays* Toothpaste (small travel size)* Toothbrush (standard size - non-electric)* Plastic Flossers* Q-tips (travel size)* Small pack of pills (very small - about the size of the hair stuff)
