This bin is great if you are pushed for space. It has a butterfly opening, which means it can slot under a table and still open. It can take normal tall pedal bin liners, so you don't have to purchase Simplehuman ones. The removable internal bin makes it easy to empty and keep clean. No Shadow of a doubt this bin is top notch soft close with a Paddlefoot mechanism that will last me years to come well worth the money indeed but I have a problem with the way in which Amazon items are delivered now this bin came with a big dent in the side I don’t know if it was caused by the Company because it was in a box or if it was done by delivery handlers this is a big problem when Purchasing any big household appliances I find with amazon please put Fragile on packages and handle with some sort of care because it is truly disheartening when things come to you dented and broken if Amazon or the company can’t insure this then stop selling these big type of item eg sinks, steel bins, glasshobs, Plywood worktops etc you see where I’m going with this check item before it sent out please

I love my new kitchen bin bought for my refurbished kitchen. It is modern design, stylish and well made. Not cheap but well worth the money as are all simple human products.

we needed to upgrade in the kitchen and really searched for a quality smallish bin, this one is superb. Not cheap but well worth it. Well made, foot operated, fits in a small space, closes itself slowly - no noise.

We have a small space between the edge of the kitchen units and the back door which the bin fits perfectly. The lid opening mechanism is well constructed and the interior unit is really easy to remove with well fitting liners.A good sturdy unit which is well worth the price.
