Docu-drama about the ruthless Mongolian leader Genghis Khan. Portrayed in dramatised scenes by actor Orgil Makhaan, the film follows the life of the 12th-century warrior from his obscurity as a member of a Mongol tribe to becoming the most feared leader in all the land.

Entertaining and informative
One of the best of the Genghis Khan docu-dramas. Well acted and the photography is beautiful. The salient points of his life are covered but a one hour film does not do justice to this man's achievements. Nonetheless, a worthy effort and at a good price too.

A well documented dvd
A fantastic documentary about the man who conquered so much of the world and some of his barbaric feared great horsemen.

Awesome story well told
Very good documentary providing useful historical information without falling into the trap of over dramatisation ..... not sure that he would have been looked on with admiration had been around in last 200yrs or so!

Although accurate, it's more for history buffs
Liked the action. More of a documentary than a family film

The man, the legend
Well paced and true to the legend. It develops the story farther than some of the other versions.
