Are the silicone seals safe for high proof ethanol, in the 65% range (~130-150 proof)?

I would say no, as most silicone is only conditionally resistant to alcohols. I believe temperature and concentration are the determining factors, with temperature being most important. If you're doing home distillates, any amount of fore shots leaking into the heads and hearts will eat at the seal very quickly.

Is the outside of the bottle smooth or indented?

Will these bottles work with soda stream carbonator without attachmet?
