I can't believe I had never thought to have done this before!! I have several toppers due to my hair loss from having lupus(mostly on my crown.) It was really hard for me to keep my topper on with just the clips that were already on them. The toppers had about 3-4 clips already sew on them, but topper still didn't feel secure enough. Often you can see the bump or they would slip off to one side. I often had to add bobby pins or hair clips to secure my topper onto my existing hair. Why most wigs don't have clips near the forehead is beyond me. I added a few more on the two toppers I had. If you look at the first wig posted, they look like the same clips as the ones already on the topper. There were only 3 and I was able to add 3 more to get a better secure fit. These clips were easy to see and definitely gave me a extra security putting my toppers on. On my second wig you can see that the existing clips were sliver and the ones I added next to them. Even though they were different clips, you could not tell once you have the toppers on. It is important to try to match your clips to your hair colors. Since my toppers were black it was easy to sew the clips on without it showing. Even if it's a windy day, I don't have to worry about my topper flying off my head. Pure genius to add these clips rather then try to use 4-5 bobby pins. I have 3 more toppers that I will be adding these clips on to. Definitely get the smaller size. It's not as noticeable and it's easier to put them in various places on the wig for that extra support. A must have for anyone who wants some extra security for their wig or topper.
