I absolutely love my Crock-Pot. It has become one of the most-used appliances in my kitchen because it makes preparing delicious meals incredibly simple. Whether I’m making soups, stews, chili, pulled chicken, pot roast, or even desserts, everything comes out tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. One of my favorite features is being able to add the ingredients in the morning and come home to a hot, ready-to-eat meal. It saves so much time on busy days and makes family dinners stress-free. The temperature settings are easy to use, and the cooking is consistent every time. The Crock-Pot is also easy to clean, durable, and large enough to prepare meals for family gatherings or leftovers for the week. I appreciate how dependable it is and how little effort it takes to create meals that taste like they’ve been cooking all day—because they have! For anyone looking for a kitchen appliance that saves time, simplifies meal prep, and delivers great results, I highly recommend a Crock-Pot. It’s an affordable investment that quickly becomes a kitchen essential.

I like the simplicity of this crock pot. There is a simple dial to select Off, low, high, warm. It is also light weight and easy to use and wash. The price is fair for this appliance. The only things I would like to see changed is the stability (there are only three legs, bumps on the bottom) It could be a tipping hazard if you have small children. The other thing is there is no indicator light to let you know that it is turned on. You just have to touch it to see if it is heating up. It would be nice to glance at it and see it is still on. But I am happy with it and it serves my purpose.

Great size for family and potluck meals like chili, spaghetti and stew. I love that it has the warm temp, which actually keeps food warm and not over cooking, as well as high and low temps. Sturdy, nice looking silver unit with black crock and glass lid, which is easy to clean! Have actually had several compliments stating "now that is a nice cooker"!

Bought this as a replacement for my old slow cooker as the metal insert it came with was beginning to rust and their website was sold out of replacement parts. I was pleasantly surprised to see this slow cooker came with a ceramic insert and not metal, so I no longer need to worry about rust. The outer metal portion of the slow cooker feels lightweight so I wasn't sure how well it was going to cook but it definitely does the job. Heats up and cooks nicely. Hoping it lasts me several years but I'll update this review if it dies within a short amount of time. Also happy to see it came in turquoise to match some of my other kitchen appliances/utensils. I read the manual and it does say it could cause an oder within the first few uses but mine had no odor upon first use. My only complain is the short cord. I understand it's short so kids can't mess with it but I have no children and it doesn't always reach the outlets I want to connect it to. I have to plug it into a surge protector or extension cable for some events.

I bought this 7-quart Crock-Pot mainly for meal prepping, and so far it’s been exactly what I wanted. The capacity is one of the biggest positives. I can cook several pounds of meat at once and have enough food for multiple meals without overcrowding it. I actually prefer the simple manual controls. There’s no app, touchscreen, or complicated programming—just Low, High, and Warm. Set it and let it cook. The removable stoneware also makes cleanup pretty easy, which matters when you’re using it regularly. It is fairly large and takes up some counter/storage space, but that’s expected with a 7-quart model. Pros: • Large enough for family meals or weekly meal prep • Very simple controls • Removable crock makes cleanup easier • Keeps food warm after cooking • Feels sturdy for the price Con: • No timer or automatic shutoff, so you have to plan around the cook time Overall, if you want a basic slow cooker without paying extra for features you probably won’t use, this is a solid option. I’d buy it again.

I have NEVER written a review on anything, and I have purchased hundreds of items online over the years, but this slow cooker has inspired me to give my humble opinion. I didn't think there was such a thing as a bad slow cooker. So when my last slow cooker bit the dust during the holidays last year, I just bopped on to Amazon and figured that I would pick up a medium of the road slow cooker for a reasonable price and all would be well with the world, once again. Since I was planning on serving a beef roast for Christmas dinner, I wanted to make sure that I got one big enough and it wouldn't take 15 hours to cook. I quickly browsed through the various slow cookers on Amazon, read a few reviews and purchased what I thought was a lovely cooker - Crock-Pot SCCPVL610-S 6-Quart Programmable Cook & Carry Oval Slow Cooker, Stainless Steel. It was only $50.00 and I figured that it would fit the bill, nicely. Boy, was I wrong! Right out of the box, Christmas Day, I could tell that this slow cooker and I weren't going to get along. It heated up way too quickly, ran HOT the entire cooking time (on low), and by the time I was ready to serve dinner most of it was stuck to the side of the cooker. Dinner tasted slightly burnt, the veggies were WAY over cooked and even after soaking the darn thing for 2 hours after serving the meal, I never could get all the stuck on crud off the sides. Well, needless to say, I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree sometimes, so I thought that I would give this worthless piece of junk another few tries before I finally gave up and threw it in the dumpster. Ah, but now this is where the good part starts...Back to Amazon to look at slow cookers. (I absolutely LOVE Amazon and my Prime membership) This time I decided that I was going to REALLY read all the reviews, compare and then make a logical, fact based decision. I immediately liked the reviews I read for this slow cooker - Hamilton Beach 33182 8-Quart Oval Slow Cooker, Black - but was somewhat concerned by a couple of people who said that it "ran hot". Having had that experience, I didn't want to repeat it, so I continued looking at every slow cooker under God's green Earth. I kept thinking that there had to be something wrong with a cooker that was so big and yet so inexpensive, so I kept looking. After another couple of hours of reading, debating and analyzing, I decided that I would give this slow cooker a try. Well, it arrived safe and sound in just a couple of days, of course. (Still love Amazon) And I proceeded to use it today for the first time. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SLOW COOKER! The temperature was perfect! The dinner was perfect! The clean up was perfect! And, once again, I am in love with my slow cooker and can hardly wait for Winter so I can give it a really good work out. If you are reading this and considering purchasing this slow cooker, BUY IT! It's absolutely wonderful. Good temperature, great size, fantastic price and all around, I think the best slow cooker I have ever owned. I'm considering buying another one as a back up. Okay, now you know why I never write reviews...There just isn't enough hours in the day. But this product was well worth the time. :)

The initial chemical burn off was overwhelming for several hours with the first use. Gag worthy overwhelming. The pork loin suffered naught. While the Crock-Pot logo has changed from a leaf to a questionable swirl, the end result was typical. The low setting did simmer the meat quicker than I wanted. This has been typical with my last 2 crock purchases- so I use the warm setting when applicable. Easy clean up.

The stainless steel exterior looks clean and modern on the counter, too. Most of all, this slow cooker makes it easier for him to eat well without stress. It’s economical, practical, and supports healthier, homemade meals even on the busiest days. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone setting up a new home—or to any parent wanting peace of mind knowing their child is being nourished at the end of a long day.

The first time I used it the handles just melted and I got a burning smell from all the plastic surrounding material... have just returned it - maybe got a defective piece.. lets see what happens
