Best Solution for My Weak Nails
I am a petite female who starting playing fingerstyle acoustic during the pandemic. My fingernails kept on breaking, and I initially bought the Amazon Basics fingerpicks. Those were too thick for my liking. The Alaska Piks are much thinner, and so far have held up well over the few months I’ve used them. I use the small size picks for my three fingers (i, m and a), and I cut/file them down close to my fingertips.

I play banjo in the clawhammer style. I need a pick on my middle finger because my nails are very weak and short. I've tried all kinds of picks, and the best thing about this design is it feels closer to using the natural nail than any other style of pick. True, they are kind of flimsy plastic, and will eventually break in the middle, but the 12 piece pack is not expensive.

These hurt
These hurt too much even after I tried to shape them with hot water and with files. They were also pulling up the sides of my nails because the alaska piks don't match the curves on my nails. For size reference purposes, I ended up using split band propiks in size small. I also tried national size medium but they were too big in every way.

The product is amazing , the picks still work after three years of playing. I'm giving three stars because they got loose on my fingers after a while.
