Awesome! but sensitive
These things are AMAZING! They seem to be even more popping and powerful than when I was a kid. One big problem for me was how sensitive they are to humidity. yesterday was 60-80% humid, and these started immediately popping the moment I poured some onto a clean dry plate. Continued to pop when mixed in oil (shouldn't have), etc. I'll probably want to try the coated version next to see if they would be less sensitive.

Tried these out at a restaurant on edemame and then looked this up. The bag was about as much as the dish and I'll use it on hundreds of at home snacks! It's just like pop rocks just unflavored! (Maybe a little sweet).

Wonderful to add to candy bark!
I added these to my candy bark- they are a bit on the tangy side alone, but added to other things, brilliant.

None popping popping sugar
Didn't pop. All the sugar was clumped together. I had high hopes for this product. Maybe other bags would be better but not wasting more money.

Great product but experiment beforehand
Great product, but play around with how long they keep their pop after application. I use these with chocolate covered strawberries and the pop dissipates after a few hours. Best to make on site if you use for an event.

Need to use immediately after opening or it turns into a solid block
When I first opened my container of popping crystals, everything inside was fine. The crystals were loose and popped nicely in my mouth. I wasn't going to use the crystals till the weekend so I tightly resealed the container and put it in the cabinet, but when I reopened the container a few days later, all the individual crystals had congealed into one huge lump.So unless you live in a very dry climate, don't open the container till you are ready to use it. And be prepared to use it all at once because it will start to harden as soon as the moist air hits it.Next time I'm going to try the chocolate coated crystals. Hopefully the chocolate coating will keep the moisture away.

Used in my cocoa bombs, I live where it’s humid (first time using them) and they did start to pop while I had some out to do cocoa bombs lol had to work fast
