Replacement 40W-55W Electrical Ballast for T5 Single 4 pins Type

This is a much better ballast than the one included in my original reverse osmosis system. My original ballast did not have a ground connection. This one does and is performing perfectly and is much better than my original ballast. Well worth the price, with fast delivery as well.

This was a replacement for the power supply that came with the system. This unit has a two color light so you can see that it is on and working. Also, it includes a warning sound to notify of failure. Very important failsafes for a system that delivers potable water to the family.

Great product at its price

I purchased the Realgoal 40W 55W electrical ballast for my Bluonics UV whole house water filtration system after the original ballast finally failed following over five years of continuous use. Unfortunately, this replacement was a major disappointment. Despite the long life of the original unit, this ballast lasted barely three months before failing completely. For a component that plays such a critical role in a UV water filtration system, this level of reliability is unacceptable. Installation was straightforward and the unit worked fine initially, but its extremely short lifespan makes it a poor value overall. I will not be purchasing this brand again and cannot recommend it to anyone seeking a durable, long term solution. Trying to save twenty dollars ended up costing more time and frustration save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

E' identica a quella che ho montata sul sistema debbatterizzatore realgoal UV, l'ho provata con una lampada UV che ho di ricambio e funziona perfettamente. A differenza di altre reattanze similari queste oltre a coprire un wattaggio da 39 a 55 Watt ha anche un fusibile di sicurezza integrato nella presa (che è ti tipo UK non italiana ma ha insieme un ottimo adattatore per farla diventare una normale shuko quindi nessun problema). Al momento mi sento di consigliare i prodotti della realgoal per l'ottima qualità ed il giusto prezzo. Se quanto scritto ti è utile ti prego di farmelo sapere.

Took a chance on buying this ballast to fit a 55w uv light. It was perfect. The cover for the end of the uv unit didn't fit but it's a different brand so my own fault. Very reasonable and I'm very happy

El balastro de recambio de 55W funciona perfectamente en una lampara UV de 39W. Cumple su funcion a la perfeccion alimentando la lampara y dando error cuando esta se funde. Destacar el servicio atento y profesional de Realgoal en su ayuda a solucionar un problema con el transporte. El producto llego a tiempo y en perfecto estado. Volvere a comprar en Realgoal.

J'utilisais ce matériel dans un véhicule aménagé l'allumage et l'extinction se faisait au rythme de l'utilisation de l'eau au robinet mais au bout du deuxième ballast changé j'ai contacté l'entreprise qui me dit que ce matériel doit être alimenté en permanence H24 quand j'ai demandé au tout début si je pouvais monter ça dans un véhicule aménagé on m'a dit oui mais ce matériel consomme 55 watts heure je ne peux vraisemblablement pas laisser cet appareil sous tension en permanence donc je désinstalle pour un matériel à LED qui consomme beaucoup moins et qui supporte les nombreuses mises en route.
