This eraser is my go-to style. I prefer a separate eraser from the eraser provided on my mechanical pencil. I have used this style and brand for many many years. I like the narrow eraser for precision erasing. I like that it is 100% reliable. The eraser is gripped sufficiently so that when you apply pressure the eraser stays put. And it is durable. I do have other style erasers but this one I use the most. I hope you enjoy it’s practical and functional traits as I have.

I prefer using this eraser over wooden pencil erasers. As you use of the tip will get an angle but just spin it. This keeps a pointed tip on if for more detailed erasing. Buy it with the refills as there are so many sizes.

I was erasing pencil writing in a book I purchased with my old Sanford eraser stick and had some eraser crumbs but nothing excessive, then it ran out. So I ordered this stick and refills that is supposed to replace Sanford. It works the same, but is not as good. I feel like I've used twice as much eraser and it was VERY crumbly. I had eraser crumbs on the book, on my lap, on the floor, and at times strings of eraser crumbs stuck to the end of the stick and I had to pull them off to continue. It will probably be OK for small jobs, but I was erasing 26 pages of handwritten notes with this new stick and I had eraser crumbs everywhere. In the pictures yiu can see the crumbs on the book and on my pants and chair. The old Sanford wasn't quite that messy.

Love it! If you need to erase in a tiny area, the this is for you. I draw my water colors first then go back and erase what I drew.
