Life size, well weighted. Parts of the brain are clearly marked and comes with a bi-fold brochure that states each. Bought this for my son’s biology report on the brain. When I compared this brain to the others here, this one really seemed to be the better choice. (Price, material, read the reviews on the other models, and ability to ship via Prime.) I liked how the brain comes seated in a stand to hold it. Brain comes apart in 2 halves, and inside is where you will see the brochure markings that label what each is.

It's a good study tool. It didnt have all the parts of the brain labelled but with a marker and a book it was a study guide

I really like it. The right side has color-coded each lobe (frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital) with the pre-central and post-central gyri highlighted; as well as the cerebellum and brainstem. The left side is similar but shows some of the distinctive functional areas like the premotor cortex, primary auditory center, and primary visual cortex. The cranial nerves on the brainstem look distinct from each other and the sagittal (midline) view is accurate. The surface features are also more accurate than many models, the superior, middle, and inferior frontal gyri are identifiable, as are the similar gyri on the temporal lobe. A more prominent uncus would be nice, but that isn't a major flaw.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter, who is studying neuroscience. She was over-the-moon happy with it and loved the level of detail in each section.

This brain was not flexible, and didn't include the labeled information as promised. Returned it.

My model did not come with a product manual and I would have liked to have one as it was listed.

I got this Human Brain Model for my daughter who is studying medicine. The quality is excellent. The brain regions are colored and numbered for easy understanding. This is life size to easily to hand and understanding. It includes a base which also helps in keep the parts together. Definitely a good value for money.
