Great and durable for outdoor work!
Jacket was very comfortable and durable for working outside. I did like the trendy look. The darker color helped keep the work jacket from showing stains- however was easy to wash so not a big deal. Good price for a good workJacket.

Durable jacket, correct proportions, Size as expected.
So this is my 3rd Dickies jacket in this style. I am used to the fit, and knew what to expect when ordering, so there were no surprises here. This is the insulated version, so it is a little warmer than the cheaper non insulated version. Do yourself a favor and choose this one over the non insulated version. The non insulated jacket is no warmer than a thin flannel shirt. This one actually holds in some heat. This is by no means a heavy jacket, however. Im a skinny guy, so I get cold in the 60s and 70s. This jacket provides enough warmth for me down to the 40s. But in the 60s, if I'm working/moving around, it actually gets a bit hot.So, yes it is a "light" jacket, but not so light that it wont do any good in the 40s and 50s. Also it's not too heavy (in my opinion) for temperatures in the 60s.The lining is like a polyester type, very smooth and feels good on the arms. I prefer this to cotton or wool type linings. This is only preference, but just thought you should know, in case you prefer the more cotton type lining. So the fitment is probably what you are most curious about. This style of jacket is short and meant to be more fitted than other jackets. The sleeves come to your wrist (with average arm length). The bottom of the jacket stops at the waist, maybe slightly above depending on your torso length. If you're wearing the correct size jacket, when you move, this jacket may feel "too small" for you. Meaning the sleeves will come above your wrists when stretching your arms, or the bottom will rise above your waist line. You will feel it slightly constricting shoulder movement. If this is what you want, then order the correct size. If you prefer a little more breathing/movement room, then order the next size UP.Just for reference, I'm 5'11" 145 pounds, fairly skinny. I wear a small in most jackets, small-medium t-shirts, small work shirts/uniform shirts. But I don't like baggy shirts and jackets. So a small in this Dickies jacket is perfect for me. If you are about the size of me, and prefer more fitted shirts and jackets, then the small should be good for you. If you like them more baggy, then go with the medium. This theory should work across the spectrum in all the sizes. If you like fitted coats, then get the size you would normally get. If you like them more loose and baggy, then get the next size up.All in all this is a great buy on a very durable jacket. I work on cars for a living so this jacket gets daily use and abuse throughout the fall and winter. Even with all the abuse, I still get a few years out of these jackets. That's not to say they are worn out after a few years, they just get so stained and faded, it's time to get a new one. But at this price point, you could get a couple at a time, and wear them forever.Oh an one more thing. If you're looking at other work jackets on Amazon, you may notice many of them say the proportions are all screwed up...Like oversized arms or torso areas. Weird proportions that make you like Popeye or something. The Dickies jacket IS NOT like that. If you get the correct size, you will not look weird like you may with other brand jackets.

Nice jacket
Good quality. Cool color. Nice insulation. Good style but feels like it’s built for fat guys. XL was big enough to fit my shoulder width but the torso is so big and bulky. I don’t have a gut and this thing was definitely built for guys with big guts. However if I went with large it wouldn’t have fit my shoulders.

Good jacket and good price
I originally ordered this in XL, but the torso and sleeve length was too short. I’m around 6ft 2in and have long arms, this is not normally a problem with an XL. I was able to exchange it for the XL tall without any issues and I’m glad Dickies sells this in tall sizes for folks that need it. I’m not needing a super-heavy-duty jacket for winter, just something for when there’s a chill in the air. I’ve had Carhartt and I think this will work as well for my needs without paying a higher price.

Good solid Dickies jacket except for the ICONS series
I bought 3 of these jackets, and 2 of them were perfect. The 3 one is really odd.Lee me start with the positive. The Navy blue one and the Charcaol one both fit me perfectly. I am the epitome of average in size. I'm 165 lbs, 5'10", I wear size 38 jacket, my pants are 32 by 32, and my shoe size is 10.5. Just about exerything else clothing-wise that I wear is a medium. It's actualy a challenge to buy off the rack because my size is often out of stock. My first purchase at the end of 2024 was Navy blue. This jacket had the classic Dickies weather resistant outer material that I have loved for the last 30 years. Eisenhower cut and slightly exaggerated shoulders. Like I said, classic Dickies fit. Additionally, the new line of these jackets actually has a more substantial lining. It is perfect for those nights that require a little bit more insulation against a cold wind. Overall this jacket exceeded my expectations. The second one I purchased a couple weeks later was the khaki one. This one was different. Everything seemed to fit like the first one except for the sleeves. This jacket has cuffs that are twice as long. One other reviewer said that the sleeves were made for an orangutan. For this particlur jacket I would agree. The cuff ends just past the knuckles on my hand. This is very different from the other two jackets. It looks like the sleeves from a size large stitched on to a medium. The rest of the fit was fine. Same waist cut and shoulders. Only a small percentage of the jacket doesn't fit, giving it an overall odd look. I noticed in the Dickies tag area, at the neck, had an additional tag labeled ICONS. Maybe it's a different line of Dickies jacket? I don't know. But it's weird nonetheless. I'll have to take the cuffs apart, and do some major alterations to make it look normal. Kind of a bummer. The third jacket I purchased was the charcoal one and it is exactly like the first. Same positive review. Perfect, no complaints. Also no ICONS label.I've already washed the beige jacket, so I can't return it. My recommendation to anyone purchasing these jackets is to keep the tags on and try it out. If it doesn't fit right, send it back. You might have to go through a couple colors before you find one that fits (I can vouch for charcaol and navy). They don't shrink when you wash them, so don't count on that making it fit any better. If I can't alter the cuffs on the beige one, I may end up just donating it to a thrift store. At an average of $60 per jacket, that's a painful outcome.
