roVa Flex Plus Aerogel Insulation Tape - Sticker Type

Used this to mod my keyboard and it’s definitely better than using other aerogel alternatives

Extremely disappointed and disappointing, I have placed an order for 4 pcs of this product 4 times (which I have used in the past many times) and have received it wrong every time. One side of the product is supposed to have adhesive on one side so you can bound it to a surface. ALL, ALL, every single one of them have not had adhesive. No one cares to make it right. Not amazon or the product manufacturer. The product is called rova fles plus aerogel insulation TAPE..KEY WORD HERE PEOPLE IS TAPE…Shamless…it deserves 0 stars….. DISAPPOINTED DISAPPOINTING (:

It's great that aerogel is now available in this easy to use format. It's easy to cut and easy to work with. It seems roVa sells this product both with and without an adhesive backing. I went with "sticker type" which I took to mean adhesive, but the adhesive is so weak as to be useless. I ended up buying a can of 3M 77 spray adhesive to get it to stick to my project.

The insulation tape came exactly as described and I have used it for two projects with great results. It was very easy to work with and cut this material with an exacto knife. The insulation has a sticky side that is protected before use by a clear plastic film. It easily conformed to surface variations in the material that I was insulation. I will be buying more.

The issue most prusa owners have is the error with the heated bed. It’s a great safety feature when it works properly. This solves that issue.
