Difficult to configure
App is very hard to use to configure Halo switches. When installing multiple switches there is no way to tell which one is being configured. Have to disconnect all and install one at a time. Competitive products fine some indication of which unit is being configured or have a front visible MAC address that corresponds to the Wi-Fi name.

Dimmer Improvements
This is more of a review for the seller. The device was purchased as new, but it was obviously used. Wire ends were twisted as seen in the picture. I will be returning since I don’t know why it was originally returned.I have these switches installed in other locations and don’t have many other complaints. Would be better if the dimmer was a slider and not a rocker. Takes too long to dim high to low. Even led lights that show the dimmer position would be helpful.

No need for a Hub, but won't work with Zigbee smart lights.
Didn't like that the product information seemed incomplete. I purchased the Halo Led retrofit "Smart things" lights from a local store, and they turn on with the existing switch, but require a "Smart things" Hub to allow them to dim, or color change. I wanted a switch on the wall to accomplish the dimming process. This suggested it would, but the fine print says it's "Blue Tooth", thus won't work with the "ZigBee" system. The Manufacturer's customer service was not good either.

Not very useful
This was supposed to allow regular dimmer control of a halo light. BUT - you need to first get your phone to connect, then setup some stuff. Still was super awkward and loses the setting easily. Halo bluetooth lights - an interesting idea but a long way from actually being useful. It would be OK if they just worked alone without having your phone nearby.

Very versatile, especially useful for 3-way light
As long as you have neutral wire in a box, you can use this switch to control any halo home light, anywhere-not just the light controlled by the switch you are replacing. Also helps convert 3-way and 4-way controlled lights to wifi/Alexa, etc.

Title sums it up and matches others reported experiences. I cannot recommend this.

App is broken, product setup is confusing and doesn't work well for three way switches.
The app is terrible. You must register and use the halo app to configure three way switches, it will not work without this. And worse, the app reloads, freezes, and crashes. So much so that I cannot configure the confusing three way setup. Don't buy.

Dimmers didnt work properly. Gave up after 3 trys. Would not recommend. Switches were used.
6 0ffice Halo smart lights. Lights work fine on regular switches.
