Works well
I'm a bit technology challenged so it took a while to set the unit up. Having said that I performs very well. Recommended.

Excellent option to extend WiFi range into your yard
We have a large yard with the house at one end and have a hard time getting WiFi at the back half of the yard, and were having issues with slow WiFi all over the house (about 10 different smart devices all connecting). This additional node (used with theLinksys Velop Tri-Band Home Mesh WiFi Router) we were able to plug into the shed partway down the hill (has power outlets and is weather tight) and get a good WiFi signal to the rest of the yard. No extra cables to run. We played a bit with the location of the in-house to get the best coverage and have actually increased our WiFi speed (previously had a decent, if a few years old, Linksys WiFi router that turned out to be part of the problem with our constant slow WiFi speeds in the house). I thought the system was a little pricey when I bought it, but to not have fight with slow/spotty WiFi the cost has been worth it!

Easy to Use and Install Wifi Extenders
Simple enough to use and setup. We have two of these, one up and one downstairs, and so I think they work pretty well. Like all wifi it's limited by doors, walls and other structures with in homes.I would recommend.

Adds a Node to LinkSys Router mesh system
Added this to an existing mesh system to service a dead zone and extend wifi coverage to the end of the house.

Velop’ s WiFi Extender, WORKS!
We have installed and used the Linksys Velop Two node Mesh System for two years and have had no problems from the get go. This summer, one of our daughters has been staying with us and working out of our house. She frequently tried to work out on our patio but found that the WiFi service was spotty. We purchased the Velop extender for our system, installed it and at the same time, upped our internet speed. We are happy to report that doing these things has given us faster and more reliable internet usage out on our patio. We ordered our Velop extender online from Amazon and it was delivered three days ahead of when it was promised. It was easy to install, as long as you follow the instructions. Read Instructions twice (maybe three times), install ONCE!

This is Al it is doing for past 30+ minutes
The media could not be loaded. Was doing a load of laundry I thought I set this extender up since my tech wall is in laundry room. Finished a wash 50+ minutes, put the wash in dryer (you can hear in background) and it is still not done. It is connected to network and signal should be strong, but it is at forever flashing setup stage. If it worked it might be good for the money, app quality is just meh, not going to bother with tech support, design would be fine if it works.DO NOT BUY THIS! Thinking about leaving Linksys for another mesh system, had nothing but problems since I got this 3 node system. Not to mention how expensive this thing is.

Great range extension to my pool area
I have had the Velop 3 tower mesh system in my house for at least a year. It has been fantastic and trouble free. Great Wifi all over the house. My problem area is a pool house area down below my main space. It is a pretty good distance down there. Ethernet over powerline does not work since the pool house is on a different circuit. I plugged the Velop extension node in down there, and configured it with the terrific app in no time. It has totally solved the problem. My speeds are around 50 meg down and 10 up down there, which is totally adequate for web surfing, email, music, streaming etc. My speeds inside the house are perhaps double that, but it is irrelevant to my needs. So, I am very pleased. I have been looking for a solution to this admittedly first world problem ( internet by my pool...) for a number of years. Problem solved.

Won't work with Linksys mesh router
Got a new Linksys WiFi mesh router. My house is large and have always needed to use an extender. Even asked Amazon's AI assistant, Rufus, if this extender would work with my new router and Rufus said yes. Well it doesn't. Wasted a lot of time trying to set it up only to find this extender only works with the Linksys Velop system from Linksys. Even though my router is a Linksys mesh router it is not compatible with this extender. Returned it for full refund.
