Painting Landscapes from Imagination (Magunta Dayakar Art Class Series Book 3) Kindle Edition

I really enjoyed this book. It explained the way we use imagination and how all elements of painting work together. It explains stereotypical ideas about painting that the author does not hold to be true. I learned some new concepts that will help me grow and get passed some stumbling blocks to my inner artist. It is a very good read for the artist of all ages.

Useless, terrible, tiny irrelevant book! It doesn't help with painting anything. Just a bunch of rambling on.

This one does not do it for me. The paintings look good on the small internet screen but not in the book itself. I don't think the author knows what he is doing with landscapes. There are no middle grays or hard and soft edges; no transitions; just to begin the list of omissions, Everything is hard and brassy with paint slung on the canvass. The text is also hard to follow This appears to be a first attempt to write a how to do it book. I can do better on my own. Sorry to give a negative review.

My husband is a watercolor painter and was interested in the idea of painting from imagination, rather than from an actual landscape or photo. A little pricey for a self-published book paperbook (I assume that's what it is), but my husband liked it.

I bought this book a while ago and my interest is more about imagination than painting ...I read the book 3 to 4 times to understand the underlying essence.. the authors thought provoking explanation about developing imagination skills opened new doors to me....A must read for everyone who aspires to paint from imagination ...

Great Book

He wrote fundamental aspects of art that all artists should know at first. Knowing what is right and what is wrong is important....

I recommend this book for creative people. Especially artists to consider this author's definition on imagination.And how to put your own experiences from your heart and into your creations

No es el típico libro con ejercicios, o tutoriales. Sin embargo tiene unos puntos de vista sobre el desarrollo del estilo propio, la creatividad, y "soltarte", que me han encantado. No tiene desperdicio.
