Ez2care Guardian Vibram High-Elasticity Zero-Drop Cane Tip 5/8, 16mm

Great cane tip! It takes away all the bulkiness from a standard cane tip and I feel so much better using my cane. It feels like I am walking much more natural with it. I will say this, in order to install it on a standard cane, you will need to add some lubricant to the bottom of the cane tip. I added some liquid hand soap to the bottom of my can was able to slide the new Vibram tip on just fine. Once it's on, it will set up and will not come off. With out the soap, it will not slide on and will not fit at all.

Perfect fit on an old German walking stick that had a metal tip, though I did have to cut off the metal tip. This fit perfectly, very snug and added stability for walking. There was enough depth for it to be secure without adding too much height. Good price, quick shipping, glad purchase.

The tip that came with my cane was standard, but only lasted about a month before it started wearing down. Not this thing! I've had this tip for nearly 2 months now and it looks the same as when I got it. That doesn't sound like much time, but I don't use my cane as intended (I use it more like a crutch). My hip sort of drops when I walk, so my cane supports much of my weight when walking. That was too much on my other cane tip but it isn't a problem for this one. This thing looks like it's made out of tire rubber! It hasn't marked any flooring yet, though I haven't used it on indoor hardwood. I also grips well, and perfectly fits my 16mm (5/8") cane.

Hoped the reviews about it's size were exaggerated, or at least the cap could be stretched out some. No chance. The very sturdy rubber these are made of make that impossible. I cut the end off the cup and epoxied it to the tip of my hiking staff. If it stays on...it should be sufficient. These are for trekking style poles...only.

People, read the description before you complain about fitment. Rulers, tape measures, and calipers are legal in all 50 states (can't be sure about Canada though), and it isn't difficult to determine the diameter at the end of your cane. If you have a 7/8" tip on your cane, a 5/8 tip like this one won't fit. If only Vibram would make a cane tip with their Arctic Grip rubber compound, they'd have THE safest cane tip on the planet. If you need a cane, you need to look into their Arctic Grip soles. Snow, wet or dry ice, it doesn't matter; if you "stay over your skis" and don't stride, you will not slip. These soles are the greatest invention since sliced bread... An Arctic Grip cane tip would be a godsend (that's a hint). Until then, this is the best cane tip I've found.

Just by looking at it in person, it will not fit any 1 inch diameter cane. Will fit a 1/2 inch, might be a tight fit on a 3/4 but impossible for a full inch.

there was only one size listed on the product page so I foolishly assumed it was a 'one size fits all' sort of thing. the picture makes it look like a 2 pound rubber doorstop but the actual diameter of the hole is about the diameter of an AA battery and is quite tiny. it was useless for me though I tried to make it work... in the trash it went. Be very sensitive to size so you don't waste 8 bucks like I did. I wish these seller photos would have a banana for scale...

This is the best rubber cane tip that I've found. Very grippy and very sturdy. Vibram will outlast ordinary rubber cane tips probably ten to one. I'm really pleased and have ordered several more, just in case Amazon stops selling them (which seems to happen whenever I find a product that I really like!) I just wish these cane tips came in more sizes. I have a number of canes in different diameters. This tip says it's for a 5/8" diameter cane....but it's a really tight fit. It would certainly fit snugly on a 1/2" cane too. I'd like to outfit all of my canes with a Vibram tip, but this tip is too small to fit most of the canes in my collection.

Had a good pair of hiking boots many years back with Vibram soles and they lasted almost 20 years. I bought this cane tip for my hiking stick and expect it will last many years as well.
