It says 3 pounds, a pound is 16 ounces, so 3 pounds is, 48 ounces, and 1 cup is 8 ounces. 8 goes into 48 6 times. It will be 6 cups. I'm not sure where the other person came up with the 6 & 3/4 cups. Or 6.75 that's nearly 7 cups and would mean the entire bag would need to weigh more
