Beautiful, moving, tear-jerker- amazing book!
Such a good book! There’s a few things, like cussing and certain references that I would have preferred not have been in there, but amazing story! I was definitely crying!

heartrending
When choosing this book to read I thought it would be just like every other dying teen book I have read. It isn’t. There are so many themes and stories inside stories within this single story. I don’t want to say too much and give too much of the story away. There are losses and times of happy tears. There is selfishness and a total loss of the same. Cystic fibrosis is a terrible disease. You basically drown in your own mucus and at the same time you have to be careful of anyone, especially another person with CF, getting too close because even a simple cold can kill and bacterial infections can easily kill. 6feet is the recommended distance our main character takes back one foot of that for a chance to finally feel she has a life.I would recommend this book to adults and teens. Some scenes are too intense for many younger kids so parents should read an decide if their child is mature enough to handle those life and death themes.

Great book!
I really enjoyed this book. It gave me a roller coaster of emotions. This is such a sweet young love of these two kids. I kinda wish there was another one but I am happy about the ending. I definitely puck up another book by this author.

A solid read
I was unsure about this book for all about 3 chapters but I ended up falling in love with Stella and Will and being able to read their struggle with not just CF, but what the actual disease does to everyone in their lives has highlighted a large aspect of what it means to fight to live.I felt that as someone not knowing about CF, this book did great by introducing the reader to it and that I might get some information but the whole of CF would be glossed over in order to make way for a fictional story that happens to talk or showcase CF.All in all I did enjoy this one and although there was a hint of instalove, and this could be my age talking, that didn't feel realistic the idea that two people could rely and fall into an attraction on a short span isn't far fetched.

Well written and emotional
Another book for the young ladies that focuses on two teenagers who cannot have a physical romance as they both have cystic fibrosis. It will make you cry. Not the same as the movie. Both are good but the book is always better. The book does have photos from the movie.

love the story line.
Absolutely beautiful story..! I loved it i cried happy tears and sad tears. I loved every moment of reading this book. The good the bad and ugly parts of the illness. I hope that one day there will be a cure for this illness. It makes you wonder what it’s like to fight to live.

A heartbreaking book based on the heartbreaking movie
I saw the movie the day it came out and I literally came home and ordered the book. It took me a little longer than I’d have liked to read it, but it’s not a terribly long book, so it wasn’t too hard to binge the last third in like two hours. But yeah, I really liked this book.It ripped my heart to shreds and dropped my heart into a deep, terrible abyss of sadness and tears, but it was still beautiful. My only real complaint is that there are some parts of the book that are poorly written. Well, actually most of the book is pretty poorly written. I caught a number of sentences where it looked like the authors didn’t exactly know how to even format a sentence with the correct structure, which honestly kinda made me mad (major grammar nerd that I am), but overall I still really liked it.The story pretty much stayed 100% true to the movie, with a few extra scenes tossed in. But in the end, I’m glad I read it because sometimes you just want those beautifully heartbreaking scenes in ink, on paper, tucked away on your bookshelf for you to pull out anytime you wanna remember a beautiful story. ❤️In conclusion, you should go buy it right now or go see the movie cause they’re basically the same. But either way, go let yourself get swept away in Stella and Will’s story because while it’s definitely a mood story...it’s also a beautifully, painful story that not only spreads the word about cystic fibrosis, but makes you realize just how powerful every moment – and every inch – is.

Essa edição ta marcada no meu coração
The media could not be loaded.

One of the best books I’ve ever read
Amazing storyline and beautifully written. Very emotional but very worth it. A very beautiful book that I can’t describe well enough in words. I will definitely be reading this again

A powerful and emotional masterpiece
This poignant, poetic, emotional novel was by far, one of my favorites. This book was a real page-turner for me. Indeed, the fact that the book is written in both Stella and Will’s point of view is very interesting. Moreover, the story is very detailed, the descriptions are poetic and appeal to nearly all the senses, which is very pleasant. The myriad of literary devices makes the story entertaining.I couldn’t help but fall in love with characters. Their emotions are well-conveyed and directly hit the reader. Indeed, this novel really move you to tears.I liked the fact that even when life forced them apart, the protagonists always found a way. This romance deals with real issues: cystic fibrosis, a deadly disease. Indeed, this book raise awareness on this subject and expose to light the cruelty of this illness, which creates anxiety, isolation, and pain. Thanks to this story, I understood the importance of touch, which is our first form of communication, and as Stella said: “We need that touch from the one we love, almost as much as we need air to breathe”.I would, of course, recommend this book to my friend/family because, as I said above, it’s a moving book which help raising awareness on cystic fibrosis using a love story between two sick teenager.
