Nice, light and long
This is my second gi from GOLD. I'm 5-11 190it's what you would expect from gold, well made and comfortable. The weave feels nice against bare skin and is pliable. The stitching is secure and straight, and it is reinforced in all the right places. The size is a pretty typical A3.Out of the box the sleeves are pretty long.I washed and dried on HOT and saw just a little shrinkage. My pics posted are prior to washing, sleeves shrunk maybe .5 inchThe sleeves are probably just right now. They are a little longer than my 450 gsm gi from gold, even after the hot wash. The collar looks to be identical to the original Gold gi. Thick and a little rubbery. In my pic the aeroweave is the black. Original gold gi in white.Pants look to made quite well, very similar in size and stitching to the original Gold. Length is about .5 inch longer than OG.as an owner of both aeroweave and OG I can say I really like them both. When it's hot I'll be wearing the new light gi for sure. My OG will still be worn regularly as well.If you have long arms the aeroweave will be perfect. Shorter arms, get the OG and shrink it a little. I've washed and dried both of my Gold gis on hot.. shrinking is minimal but you do get some.

High quality, light weight Gi
I've rolled in this gi a few times now and it is one of my favorites. Super light weight and comfortable.Size seems to run larger than other brands but when you find the right fit, it feels like you are rolling in pajamas. Highly recommended.

Repeat customer
I own 2 of these gis now. Somehow it's simultaneously the lightest, most comfortable gi I have and also the most durable. Not sure how they pull that off, but I might just keep buying this one when my other gis fall apart and need to be replaced.

WEIRD Fit But Light and Quality Gi ***UPDATE ADDED***
This is probably the oddest fitting gi I've ever owned. And Ive had all the major brands...origin fuji tatami venom etc. I typically wear an A3, but had to get the A2 for an ok fit. (5'11 205 lbs. Athletic Build) The length is fine, but it's large around the armpit??? Like, so much so that it puffs out even when it's wrapped as tight as possible. Maybe if you had a chest like Arnold schwarzenegger you could fill it out, but short of that, I don't think so. When rolling that extra fabric makes the collar pop open and offers grips to my partner that I don't want to offer. Additionally, out of the box its as stiff as a board. Hoping after a few wash cycles it looses up. That being said, it is incredibly light, which is very nice. If the fabric gets a little more flowy as time goes on I can see myself really enjoying this gi. The stitching and gi strength seems to be very good. It feels very sturdy despite it being so light.*** A few months later and plenty of washes....now this Gi fits much better and has softened up quite a bit. Feels great rolling! Would definitely recommend this gi. Just give it some time to get broken in.

Most lightweight, comfortable gi I own.
I am 5'4", 187 pounds, and I ordered an A1H. I am busty and carry some extra weight around the mid-section, so I struggle to find a gi that fits me well. While I have only worn this for one BJJ class, and cannot speak to longevity and durability, this has immediately become my new favorite. Now that it is summer and our gym gets HOT, I need a gi that doesn't feel like I'm swaddled in a heavy blanket. This gi is 20% lighter than my Kingz gi. It is light and breathable. Additionally, the light weight allows improved mobility while I'm training, which is a huge bonus. I will update this review in 3 months after I've worn and washed it multiple times, but I've already recommended this to all the women at our gym, it's just that amazing.

The lightest and most comfortable gi I've ever worn
This is the first review I have ever written on Amazon, but I felt compelled given how happy I am with this gi. I have owned a few from other manufacturers and was never really satisfied with any of them. I bought an A2 in grey. I like the relatively clean aesthetic, and it is remarkably light and comfortable. It's perfect for someone like me who sweats a lot. I'm 5'9" and about 180 lbs - it was a little long in the sleeves and legs but after some time in the dryer it fit great. It air dries very quickly. I also seem to get less mat burn than with other gis I've worn. Highly recommended!I would like to add that Gold BJJ's customer service has been pretty cool. Before the order arrived I got an email with a link to their gi care page. The order was also eligible for a free gift (<$10 value + free shipping) which makes it easy to try out either their pre-roll supplement, finger tape, or soap. I will definitely be buying more of their products in the future!

What an excellent gi!
This gi is one of my favorite now. It's looks great. It fits great (A1, 5'7", 163 lb. I usually buy A2 but went for A1, as per Gold BJJ's size chart). Really comfortable to roll in.It's REALLY light. My A1 weighs about 1 lb lighter than my Tatami Nova Absolute and Hayabusa Lightweight, and those are lightweight gi's by definition. My only regret that it's a last year IBJJF allows to use gi's with less than 380 GSM at their tournaments.Great job, Gold BJJ!
