The caveats are with hasty editing. The volume should be gone through again for syntax errors, incomplete sentences, and captions with missing illustrations. With streamlined text and improved photos and diagrams, I would heartily recommend this book. The author is an intelligent, gifted and friendly teacher. Ctw

good instructions, easy to follow

2022 was the year I first learned about solar cooking. I have concerns and was glad to stumble upon this. Great info in this book and a wonderful resource to fall back on...just in case.....

I have heard about solar ovens in passing. Usually it was discussions about hiking and backpacking. When I saw this book I immediately downloaded it to learn more. This is an interesting subject. Living as I do in a desert area, solar anything is the way to go. I may well begin one of these as my next project.
