I've had this for about 5-6 years before I wrote this review. I was never big into yo-yo's but I would always pull this thing out and swing it around , still last upto this day.

I truly enjoy this yoyo. It works exactly like it says it does. My only concern is the small gap between the bearing and bearing guard is just big enough to eat little pieces of frayed yoyo string. That makes the yoyo noisy and reduces it's sleep time. After the second day of owning it, I had to take it apart and clean the yoyo fuzz out of the bearings.

I bought this yoyo to serve as both responsive and unresponsive. On one side, the yoyo worked perfectly fine and is easy to use, on the other hand, the yoyo not being specialized in a specific style makes it lacks a bit in both. It doesn't have a very long sleep time, but it's still enough for any trick, because it's plastic, and it doesn't balance perfectly on the string. Another thing, being butterfly shaped doesn't really help with responsive yoyo tricks, causing it to tilt more than other responsive yoyos when doing long tricks. However, if you only want it for fun, it will be worth the price. It's still a very good yoyo after all. But if you're serious about yoyoing, I'd recommend buying a responsive, or an unresponsive one. but not both

Great yoyo! The adjustable setting is a little bit hard to rotate, but once I figured it out, it works really well to make the yoyo more or less responsive. Unwind the string all the way when you adjust the setting, so you can see how the small discs move closer together or farther away. I adjusted it to an easier setting for my 8 year old so the yoyo would jump back up easier, and then as he gets used to it, we can go farther toward the "pro" setting so it sleeps longer when he tries to walk the dog, rock the cradle, etc. Seems to be high quality with a durable string and a spare string was also included in our set.

This yoyo can change from responsive to unresponsive very easily. All you have to do to change it is turn the dials in the center of each side the same way. Here’s a tip for changing it from responsive to unresponsive or vise versa, make sure the string is NOT wound up or not on the yoyo when you turn the dials. If the string is wound up on the yoyo when you do this it could get caught inside the yoyo and be hard to get out. This yoyo is great for beginners and for people trying to transition from responsive to unresponsive play.

Easily adjustable from responsive to unresponsive. With all the adjustable equipment don't expect a perfectly balanced yo yo. A bouncy, wobble prevents it from spinning very long (about 20 seconds). Still a decent yo yo to practice and learn binding.Update -- a little bit of yo yo oil resulted in a smoother spin.
